... the finale to this very awkward miniseries of my recording of this whole event. God, this was stupid. I wish the strike ends soon and the VAs can go back to voicing their characters without companies trying to screw them over to cut costs. Get your AI trained VAs out of my Genshin!

Nah, this was perfect, it's emotional and epic and the same time, it fits very well with the moment so there's no problem with that. I mean, they used type wild for the Paul vs Ash battle and worked, this time too.
Also, this was the ending theme of the series at the time, it makes sense that they would also use it.

Indeed, I don't understand how Journeys has not been as hyped as the Sun and Moon anime, I mean look at the comparison of the two leagues.
We all know which series had more potential, its not even close... its honestly sad to see, I enjoyed journeys for what it ended up being but I'd be lying if I said it lived up to its potential... I remember back in 2019 when I saw that first poster for the anime, so many returning pokemon and characters...

Something poetic about this song playing during a battle Ash and Pikachu win before winning a championship. It had to be him and Pikachu. It felt extra impactful considering everything they've been through since the very beginning.

Don’t love S&M but the last episodes, especially this one, were undoubtedly some of the most special Pokémon moments overall, especially for us ones that grew up with Ash 🥇🔥
Everyone who saw the entire struggle the last 20 years for sure. Never rooted harder for two fictional characters in anything.
S&M had more great episodes, not just the last ones, and I mean they are amazing of course, but check the series again, maybe you will see it. I don't know, it has its own feeling and that gave it identity.
