This ultrasonic cleaner is a very weak one, I have a much bigger one at home that I use to clear my glasses and it works most of the time. Also the problem might be that he is using just water and not any soap or cleaning liquid.. I use some clear liquid soap and warm water in my ultrasonic cleaner and it does clean the glasses quite well, but as I said it's a much bigger one than this, it's 1.4 liters and it has 70W of power. I'm more worried that it might damage the pastic of the glasses..

Pretty sure they didn't dump them In because of another big reason. Phosphoric acid is not something you want in your eyes and on your skin. You can tell that's part of what they used for chemicals just by looking at the bolts when they came out. They are not same shade of Black and Brown they are a Primer Black which is what Phosphoric acid does to rusty metal. I know I use the stuff on truck frames. All the sonic cleaner did was speed up the process by letting the chemical hit every angle of the rust on the bolt.
