One of the reasons I think JC in dmc3 is always better, is the way it makes NO sound. The sword is already sheated before you know it and then comes the slash that breaks even space. Sure, barrage of slashing sound is hot, but the idea of doing a move so fast the sound can't catch up is just badass.

Honestly I think DMC's fanbase overall just can't appreciate almost everything. There's always something that they're complaining about.
I played DmC. As soon as Vergil said “Yamamoto” I was done AND THAT WAS AFTER FIGHTING A WHORE SLUG IN THE SEWER!!! That game had combat that was simple but enjoyable but it didn’t make up for how bad it was and how that drug addict was not Dante. Also I agree, I’d play DmC ANY day over that dumb mobile game 🤝
