I haven't noticed it while sleeping but I have noticed it while reloading the world from the main menu. This was in our original "launch" world, I haven't seen it happen in my newer sandbox world but I also haven't done much building in that besides basic tests of the new build system.

How it Works: Each Spot has a value assigned to it 1, 2 ,or 3. The canisters align with these numbers. You need to find the value of each spot and put the correct canister into it. When it is powered up the "pressure" of each spot increases from 0 to its full value at full power. (this means at half power the pressure will be half of the total value) If the value gets larger than the number on the canister the machine will pop it out and fail to power. A spot with a 1 value will accept any canister at any power level. A 2 value will accept any canister at half power and a 2 or 3 at full power A 3 value will accept a 2 or 3 canister at half power and a 3 at full power.

Steps on how to complete: 1. Put 3 1 canisters and a 2 into first machine. 2. Power to half - Only a 1 canister can pop at half, if it does this spot has to be a 3 canister. 3. If nothing pops at half power, power to full - if a 1 canister pops replace with a 2 - if a 2 canister pops replace with a 3. *remember that the initial 2 inserted might have a 1 value, if a 1 pops out it is recommended to swap out the first 2 to check for a 1 value. 4. Repeat step 2 and 3 until the machine powers on to full. 5. Take all remaining canisters and place in second machine. 6. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until machine powers up. *note that you will only have 4 canisters for second machine so will need to rearrange last canisters to make machine power up. 7. If second machine fails to power with remaining canisters a mistake was made in machine 1 and it must be powered down and start over.

@@alanbanh you can go into a game by yourself and practice tasks. This one was annoying me so much that I had to go a figure out how exactly it worked

As long as you built it, finding and repairing things found in the world works differently, it is supposed to give all materials back. However, I have had multiple instances of materials falling through the world and not coming back. This mainly happened when I destroyed a lot of items at once spawning a lot of materials into the world.

No Problem, I am working on an updated video as someone pointed out they have updated the building system and going back in and testing things some things have changed since I made this video

I haven't really been keeping up with the game, have there been major updates to the build system? We played the sandbox mode briefly and it was underwhelming, though it was still in alpha, we haven't touched it since.

@@emberplays8634 they updated some building stuff in the same update that Sandbox Alpha was released. It included significant improvements to “building stability” and also added more build pieces, including furniture and lighting. There is another large update scheduled for “Fall 2024”. This update will include the Steam release (and likely Xbox release), as well as Sandbox release on PS5. It will also include general game updates/improvements. Due to the 1-year Epic Games exclusive deal, “Fall 2024” likely means late-October 2024 (they can’t set a specific date for obvious reasons).

I did jump back in for a bit after I saw your comment and saw they added in some new structures. Need to get materials and find a big enough room to do some testing, I'm struggling to find granite and enough wood 😅. I saw their note about the steam release so I will definitely try to get an updated version out before then, hopefully they don't change too much with the fall patch lol

@@emberplays8634 i have a resource world save file that I can share. You can empty it of resources, reload the save file and it’s full again!

Honestly didn't think of that 😅, I have our campaign world I can steal stuff from. Mainly wanted to start a new world in case all the patches didn't work right on our old day 1 world

not sure, mine would crash repeatedly some sessions and then not at all during others

Yeah, but once you get flying mounts death doesn't matter as much and I honestly thought he wasn't going to get that close to getting me

once we got into dwarrowdelf, after repairing and climbing the stairs, it was pretty abundant. When you get into the last area it becomes so abundant it is hard to find granite anywhere.
