@ took me a while too. Slow it down and listen to it slow. Practice slow to get it note for note and then increase speed slowly.

@ none I slowed the song down with software and used my ear. I’ve never seen a tab or someone else on RUclips that was correct.

@@robotjeansWhen you say gain at 10 do you mean 10-o’clock or maxed? Maxed is too much. I keep my bass around 10:30-11 o’clock, mids around 1:30-2 o’clock, treble same as mids, gain just a hair past noon, like 12:05 o’clock, and presence at 3 o’clock. This is on modern for the distortion channel. Cab matters too. I use a mesa rectifier cab with vintage 30s. No pedals at all not even an overdrive.

i’m 16 years old and grew up in family that listened to blink and my favorite of there albums is buddha. do you know how I can achieve the buddha sound should I just use a ampeg vl1002 or should I be blending it with another amp head

And I know that, that album had a very raw tone and was mixed poorly and the equipment used for it was equipment they could afford at the time

@@talanallain9980 Buddha was a fender amp, either a Princeton or an M80. Squire Strat with stock single coil pickups using a blend of the middle and neck pickups (position 4 on the selector switch)
