Rotator Moves Container - Close Call
Просмотров 2983 месяца назад
We were called to help out at an assisted living facility to temporarily relocate their storage container to another location while they repaved their parking lot. During the move, we had a bit of a... swing... watch to see if you can see it!

Im 2 years in in heavy tow, What was the reason you didn't used rim sling on front tire of truck to drag it and went for chassis under the hood? It can damage the hood too...
Atleast rotate the container to its correct position. Side walls aren't design to be base, holding all of weight
We were not provide the time required to get a forklift and remove the industrial sized paper rolls that were inside. We had to have one lane closed down and local law enforcement was pushing us to get it cleared. It was better to lift it slightly and transport it in that orientation.
@@ErniesCustomShop it's not time taking, just need to rigg it, 4 hooks on roof of container, hook 4 hooks with 4 winches and pull from the crashed side up, tipping it over on its base, while other 2 lines to catch the fall,
Best soundtrack for such a feat
Interesting, but in your state of Illinois, per the IVC, you're not authorized to use red and/or green flashing lights, and certainly not allowed use sirens... if that had been my 10-50, you'd left the scene with a citation in hand... you can't just decide what you feel like using on your own...
If you're complaining about the lights and sirens then you probably shouldn't have a driver's license
I live in a one light town in the middle of nowhere, explain to me why the fire department deems it necessary to roll lights and sirens at 3am in a ghost town!
If it weren’t for real businessmen out here officers wouldn’t know who to turn to for help. 🤟🏻
Beautiful truck
Do you guys still have the older Peterbilt wrecker? Be cool seeing close ups of it too!
For your next inspiration how about a walk around of all your rollbacks parked together !
Ever heard of a Crane !
Nice twins
Mute warning.
I hauled precast hauling concrete walls for 14 years that shit is crazy
Obviously the securement standard for loads like this is totally weak . Double it and add requirement of three heavy chains to prevent forward movement or strap equivelent
Big Bucks for those wreckers to come out and clean the mess up .
This exact same scenario happened to a fellow trucker ahead of me in a convoy when a bread van turned left in front of him. Only, there were no survivors. To better explain, we were hauling beams going to a bridge being built over the causeway in St Simons Island around 1986. It was about 0500 hrs, dark and foggy (should not have had a permitted load underway in those conditions.) He was trying to pass the bread van when it turned left into his path. The truck driver was killed as were two occupants of the bread van. Along with the lives lost the highway was shut down for two days to remove the wreckage and the construction project was shut down for two months because of the loss of the beam which had to be recreated.
With music like that I'll watch anything you got😂
That beam is called a “double-T”.
Some explanation would have been nice. Who hit who? What happened?
Agreed. Curious who ran the intersection.
We did not receive the details regarding HOW it was caused.
That’s what a headache rack is for cause otherwise the driver and passenger…would have…well…thankfully just minor injuries…guess it wasn’t cross chained in the front? Everyone be safe out there!
Should have been cross chained in the front.
OOPS
That's a double tee concrete for the construction of high rise parking lot! I have hauled many of these back in my trucking yrs yes they can be very dangerous because of the only way you can secure them two chains in front and two in the back most of these loads weigh up to 70 thousand lbs hope the driver is ok!
Well Ernie, this is a proud moment for your company out there so cleanly and professionally representing in an otherwise not-so-good moment!!
Lucky it knocked the cab off, otherwise...
Shows how the headache rack does it's job. I don't think the driver and passenger would have fared so well without it.
Had to google what this was. 👍💪
Looks like a total write off right there!
Believe it or not, the driver and his passenger both walked away from what's left of that truck with only minor injuries.
Gave you a sub from Upstate New York
Slow down in town..
when ya do something dangerous everyday you tend to forget how dangerous it really is.
Too much speed for that type of load the driver should have known better.
The Truck Driving industry has gone down hill recently and you’re going to see a lot more accidents with bidens border jumpers.
Music sucks on this
haha sorry, just picked some generic Epidemic Sound music as to not get in trouble for copy write on RUclips. They are super strict.
Did the driver survive
Why don't these trailers that carry these loads have safety barriers at front of trailers.
Because if you chain them down right they don't move
Get rid of those stupid sound effects
I 🙏🏿🙏🏿the fellow trucker made it out ok , this a first for me seeing thins in 38+ year
Stacks were still good…tell the truck owner I’ll give him a 100 bucks for the pair!
Learned nothing. Didn’t put stop chain on front.
Unsecured load on an icy trailer.
DAMN !!! EVEN IF THEY HAD THE DOT CRASH BAR/ CAB PROTECTOR, IS UNLIKELY THERE WOULD BE AN BETTER OUTCOME!!!😱😱😱😱
6 seconds in and that dog shlt crappy-ass "music" made the video unwatchable. Bit of a disease here on RUclips where poster's think the viewer wishes to listen to this garbage.
I'd say he was lucky it sheered cab off frame
Excellent production value, keep up the good work, put a big description in your RUclips bio, let people know who you are you have a link to your website, don’t let Pepe’s in LA take all the glory ha ha ha
If driver OK headache rack did it's job
Hey 3784 each truck is almost a million
How, was the beam, not out of the front of the truck??
Watched a car honk at a trucker yesterday. Like of course they cant see your blinkers they cant see your whole ass car nex to their hood. Figure out how to let trucks flow, because they dont stop. It's already dangerous with the weather and awful roads. Dont be the reason we die out here. Delivering your stuff shouldn't cost us our lives... or yours.
