Screw together Cal Kestis' Lightsaber
Просмотров 8142 года назад
My brother gave me a 3d printer so I went big for my first project. This is a Screw together Cal Kestis' Lightsaber. I loved the work CaseStudyno8 did on this hilt but I wanted to be able to but a light up blade in it. I also wanted the Grip to be rubber not plastic. I did edit the files in tinkercad so the res could be a little low. CaseStudyno8 hilt www.thingiverse.com/thing:4336828 Download ...
How I built my first PC… I went a little over kill.

This is the first PC I have ever built. I went totally YOLO on it. Water cooled, Wall mounted, custom mounts for all the components, a custom water block/distro, all cut into a live edge oak board a friend gave me.

My new wall light lightsaber hilt display. One of my more geekiest projects to date and that is saying a lot. Build materials: The Box: 1 X: 8x10 Black Chalk / White Marker MDF Board ( this was for the inside to be white and the outside to be back. www.homedepot.com/p/3-16-in-2-ft-x-4-ft-Black-Chalk-White-Marker-MDF-Board-00066/313382855 1X: 4x8 .25inch MDF sheet: White curved backgrounds: I us...
Amazing
Beautiful restoration!!!
Oh my, that is stunning. I have wanted to build one and never seen something that i had in my minds eye. Then i seen this, I love the wood the abundance of metal trim this trunk is awesome. fantastic job. The way you finished the metal is perfect. Can I ask what color stain that is and what finish you went with?
Did you wrap the LED's inside the polycarbonate tubing in some kind of foam? Wondering how you got the LEDs to diffuse. Looks great!
i used a white plastic paper but foam would be better.
Peace be upon you. Nice work. Can you give me the horse drawing file? Thank you
they are from toymakingplans.com/antique-1890-rocking-horse/
Not bad but, not for me. I personally have been trying to replicate Cal's saber with standard parts and I'm very happy with it so far.
which wood are you using?
Parece chapa de compensado virola branca.
De 15 mm
Very nice ! great finish with dowels joins. 👍
thanks you
Great work!
thanks
i need a tutorial on that case!!! thats breathe taking
good work. How does the fixing system of the legs to the top of the table work?
I think a print of Lebowski's rug with a pee stain for the play surface would be a cool addon.
LOL well played
I’m like the dude man
@@loganjayy4701 Well, that's like your opinion man
did you make all the lightsabers or just the one from your video?
I only made one of them and it is in my other video.
That display is SICK!!!!! Wow!
thanks! I have a video on that also.
How did you fix the lightsaber above those tubes? please, just tell me it.
I will try to make a video on how it was made. I did not take a lot of photos. It will take some time. As for your question. The hilts are just sitting on top of the tubes that have the LEDS in them. the full system is 350+ LEDS all in one long string.
@@thoughtsinprogress It was what I imagined. My congratulations on the project. I am determined that I will make one for myself. I'm already 3 days trying to decipher the materials you used and how you assembled it. Did you use white polystyrene plate in the background? To control the LED strip, did you use WLED or did you program it yourself?
@@andremagalhaes2777 I put all of the build materials that I can remember in the description for this video. If you need more help or advice on how to build your own feel free to ping me. I'm happy to help.
I also made this.. hope it helps. www.tinkercad.com/things/fNrGvOgBnv2/edit
😑 Promo-SM!!!
Pretty cool. If you did have time to do a build video that would be awesome.
How did you make this? Where can I buy the parts?
