Other songs I really enjoyed and Choose Me set the hook. I have become a Maidiac.

Married for 24 years and I still feel like every line of this song is true. I've provided for my family since day one but if i would ever not be able to bring home that paycheck, i feel that she'd leave for the first guy that comes along with money. I showed her this song and I hoped she'd throw her arms around me and tell me the song was wrong. All she said was, "It's a good song." 24 years and I still clung to the hope that she'd be better than most women out there.

Definitely listen to her whole EP EAT (NXT Soundtrack). And her cover of Spit by Kittie.

Asides "Suffocate" With knocked loose, this will be the heaviest track by her to date. There are heavier tracs littered throughout her discography, "Concrete" and "Say Cheese" the latter being pretty damned hard in of itself. All of which are worth hearing. Say cheese is pretty groovy track.

"Choose Me" -- a song featured in the Netflix original movie "KATE" and the HBO Max series Peacemaker as BAND MAID, has so many great RnR chops, it's kinda unbelievable. From Saiki's old-school phrasing, cadence and a super soulful vocal at the end; MISA's driving bass, her special riff after Kanami's brilliant, rocking main solo (complete with harmonic pinch), and her pulls at the end of the song that really funks it up with Akane's drumming; to Kanami's original composition, off-beat octave stretches during the verses, and her addition of a second uncomplicated yet super tasty solo; to Akane's unique snare & tom flurry that launches the choruses; and to Miku's octave-down, in & out vocal backup and lyrics... all makes "Choose Me" a throwback rocker that surprised me when I first heard it - and I'll bet most anyone - that they would come up with this western-style, rock 'n roll classic. Of course, after years later, it's not surprising at all coming from this important band of geniuses who are, along with The Warning band, almost single-handedly bringing back the joy of rock. However, If you like strictly power and thrash metal music, there is another fantastic all -female Japanese band called Lovebites, five ladies extremely talented and skillful. I suggest you take a look at their YT channel where you will find all the videos you want, even the very recent ones (I recommend "Soldier stands solitarily" LIVE). Personally I am a fan of both Band Maid and Lovebites, according to their different musical genre

They are all maids, they just dress the way and serve whatever they feel like. Luckily for us, they wanna take over the world with rock music and serve everyone at their shows a night they'll never forget every time

Please, check out Choose Me and Blooming. It's not Metal per se but still uniquely Band-Maid. Choose Me was played at a "club scene" in the film Kate where Band-Maid had a cameo. Blooming was also played as part a scene during a car chase. Also, Choose Me was played in an episode of the TV show Peacemaker starring John Cena.

Rinse, Hate, Black hole, Dice etc. all are half metal, I guess.

While Band-Maid is primarily hard rock, they do a lot that strays into metal, prog, electric blues, thrash, and the like. But if you want to ever slow it down, they got that too.
