This Is Your Choice To Be The Narrator Of The Disappearing Diesels The Horror Version, Written By (Me) Green Troublesome Slate Truck 1516. Narrator: On The Island Of Sodor, The Engines Are Working Hard. But Sometimes There Was Too Much Work For Them, And That’s When Sir Topham Hatt Has Announced Them At The Sheds That The Four Mainland Diesel Engines Will Come To Help Them Out With The Extra Work. They Were Please With The Help They Needed At First, But They Were Having Little Doubts And They Had Sinking Feelings In Their Boilers That These Four Mainland Diesel Engines Were Difficult When They Arrived. Later At The Knapford Station, There Were The Four Diesel Engines From The Mainland Who Just Arrived To Work On The Sodor Railway On Trail. Three Of Them Were Black, Green And Blue, And The Other Green. They Didn’t Have Names, Only Their Numbers D13, D17, D98462 And D87546. D13, D17 And D98462 Were Black, Green And Blue Class 40 Diesels While D87546 Was A Green Class 42 Warships Diesel, Some Diesels When They Were Built To Work As Hard Workers And Not Replacing Steam Engines Or Taking Over The Railway, But Sometimes Other Diesels Came Out Rude, Cocky, Devious, Boastful, Difficult, Bad, Horrid And Very Spiteful. And I’m Sorry To Say That The Engines Were Right About These Four Diesels, They All Came Out Of The Workshop Very Rude, Cocky, Devious, Boastful, Difficult, Bad, Horrid And Very Spiteful Indeed. They Made Their Own Right Ways As They Gloated To Thomas And The Other Engines About How Grand, Obsolete And Special They Were, They Soon Would Replace Steam Engines On Sodor And Take Over Sir Topham Hatt’s Railway, But The Steam Engines Of Sodor Railway Didn’t Like That. They All Warned Them That Their Attitudes Would Get The Better Of Them, But They Took No Notice And Laughed Rudely To Them. Even Their Drivers Warned Them About Their Bad Behavior Attitudes And They Would Be Dead Of Them One Day, But They Didn’t Seem To Care And Just Laughed At The Thought. Until One Sadly Afternoon, They Soon Would Learn The Hard Way When They Rather Had Extremely Accident On Their Bad Behaviors. At The Depot Shed, D13 Was Sent To Work On The Brach-line And Shunting Trucks At One Of The Old Quarry Shaft Mines At The Farquhar Quarry Before Mavis Arrived On Sodor To Work At The Quarry, While D17 Was Sent To Work At Edward’s Branch-line To Shunted And Pushed Empty Trucks Into The Mine Shaft At The China Clay Works Even Before Boco, Bill And Ben Came To Sodor And Work At The China Clay Works, D98462 Was Sent To Work At The Lead Mine While Shunting And Pushing Empty Trucks Into The Rock And Stone Mine Shaft, And D87546 Who Was Sent To Work At The Coal Mines While Shunting And Pushing Empty Trucks Into The Coal Mine Shaft. D13’s, D17’s, D98462’s And D87546’s Drivers Forgot To Put The Brakes Probably When They Left Their Diesels And Went To The Tea Break With The Coal Mine Foreman, The Miners, The Workmen And The Lead Mine Manger While D13, D17, D98462 And D87546 Sulked Impatiently Waiting For Their Drivers To Come Back. Then Suddenly, They Felt Like They Were Moving As Their Wheels Turned Faster And Faster And Faster And Faster, They Tried To Rad Out Their Engines With Nasty Black Smoke, But They Couldn’t, They Tried To Apply The Brakes By Made Them Stop Rolling Forward, But They Couldn’t Without Their Drivers, They Even Tried To Blow Their Horns A Warning, But They Couldn’t Do That Either, They Didn’t Care Why They Were Moving But They Took No Notice And Kept Rolling Along To The Mines Below Without Telling Anyone What Was Going Wrong And Disappeared. It Would Be Wiser If They Did Though. Before Everyone Was Just Able To See What Was Happening, They Were Unaware What Was Coming Next. They Had Heard A Bang, A Rumpled Crash, A Large Deadly Stampede Of Coal, Rocks And Stone Came Tumbling Down Inside The Mine Shafts And All Four Deathly Screamed Came From D13, D17, D98462 And D87546 As Each Of The Entire Mine Shafts Collapsed. The Coal Miners, The Coal Mine Foreman, The Quarry Manger, The Quarry Workmen, The China Clay Works Manger, The China Clay Works Workmen, One Of The Workmen And The Lead Mine Manger Asked The Four Drivers Was Anyone Else In There. Lucky, All They Replied Were That No One Else Was In There. But The Trucks And The Four Mainland Diesel Engines Themselves Were Completely Buried Alive, They Didn’t Had Any Equipment To Save Them. And If They Did, It Would Be Too Late Either Way. They Telephone To Bertie’s Driver About The Accident, And Bertie Arrived To Take Them Home Outside Of The Knapford Station Where The Steam Engines Work. They Were Happy To See Bertie, Until They Were Surprised To See The Four Drivers Without Their Diesel Engines D13, D17, D98462 And D87546, But With Bertie Instead. When Asked What Happened To The Four Rude Diesels, They Told Them They Were Definitely And Completely Buried Alive In The Mine Shafts While They Were On Tea Break. The Engines Were Deeply Shocked, In Disbelief And Very Dismayed, They Knew Those Four Wouldn’t Have Deserve Their Fateful Death If They Were Alive And Apologized To Them. If Only Sir Topham Hatt Wasn’t Aware About Their Bad Behaviors, He Wouldn’t Have Sent Them Away In Disgrace Either Way. Even Sir Topham Hatt Couldn’t Believe He Just Heard When He Came Out Of His Office. He Told The Four Drivers He Was Very Sorry, And Promised That He Would Arrange Them To Had Them Signed To Work Along Side With The Another Diesels From The Other Railway Like Boco, Bear, Mavis And A Road Vehicle Who Runs On Roads From Sodor Like Butch The Breakdown Truck. As For All Of The Miners And Workmen, The Mines Were Never The Same After The Accident Happened. Some Of Them Were Getting Sick, While Others Were Looking Very Pale Or Even Timid. But If You Were About To Ask One Of Sick Miners And Workmen, They Both Heard From The Other Two Men That They Saw The Most Disturbance Sites To Look And See At The Four Ghostly Diesels Rolled Up Into The Every Different Mine Shafts Without Their Drivers Inside Trying To Make Their Way Out Of The Daylight. But They Sadly Never Reach Out Of There In Time And Were Gone Into The Night, Gone Without Any Traces.
