My Thyroid cancer was a T3N0M0, it was well differentiated FTC which was minimally invasive. I’m 59 but am extremely fit & healthy. I’ve had the diseased half of my thyroid removed, but I’m hanging onto the other half of my thyroid as long as I can, because further surgery has huge consequences, but there is a possibility further disease could occur, if this happens I have to live with potentially having made the wrong decision. This has to be one of the most difficult decisions of my life. 🤷‍♀️ but who in their right mind would choose to be a fat depressed sloth because it’s difficult to titrate the right dose of Levothyroxine etc post operatively.
