Apparently, Sadamoto Yoshiyuki only worked on the very last episode (27th) of Gurren Lagann as the lead animator Edit: still, ending of Gurren Lagann is the answer to ending of Evangelion. There are so many ties, especially with the infinite alternative possibilities shown by Anti-Spiral being very reminiscent of Shinji seeing what his life could've been

@@amexican1366 I have it on my to-read list. Also I definitely recommend AoT. It's pretty much Anime's own Breaking Bad. There isn't any other lore in animanga that has that much thought, and consistency put into it. And don't even get me started on the characters and story, foreshadowing, writing. Really good stuff, packed with heart-pumping action that even on rewatches gets your blood pumping.
Gurren Lagann has always been my favorite mecha anime. (Excluding Gundam franchise) I wish it had a new series.
