Looking for a unique hiking experience? Registration is now open for Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia's Trailblaze Challenge 2025! On April 11-13, 2025, participants will hike an 18-mile journey along the picturesque mountains in Shenandoah National Park all while raising much-needed funds to grant the wishes of local Virginia children with critical illnesses. The hike experience includes:

But, in partnership with Aubree's parents and INOVA Health, Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia was able to grant the unique wish to give toys back to the hospital where Aubree was treated. Ive worked with Make a Wish fir a few years and to help these kids especially the little ones with thier wishes is something thats beyond i can even express. I remember there was one boy and he wanted to ride in a classic mopar. And i called up my car buddies and we had a parade of about 100 mopars drive around for him. He got to sit in almost every type of iconic mopar there was. Hellcats vipers roadrunners chargers it was something so insane but it was really amazing. Hos mom told me after that that day was the first day in months he had smiled. I was crying after the wish cause like he just wamted to ride in a mopar and he got to ride in dozens. He was cheering clapping and smiling and to know we could do that it made me really excited and so thankful i could help him

seeing things like this just warms my heart and seeing kids who have huge dreams to serve and protect it, it just restores so much hope in humanity.

Man, look at his eyes around 3:37 when he's looking up to the guy. The level of admiration he shows them is beyond what most of us can fathom. I have a love/hate relationship with police. It's been like that since I was young. But can any of you remember looking at authority figures like that as a kid? I remember thinking cops were Superman. I need to have a talk with my younger self to stop being so critical and cynical.
