I can't give you any scores but we're from 3a lowerstate. I can give you the placements for that, sorry I can't give more than you know about 4a lowerstate though. 7-Midland Valley 6-Gilbert 5-Airport 4-St. James 3-Hanahan 2-Hartsville 1-Chapin.

I’ll trade you… We know the order of finish at Lower State but not the scores. Care to share? Here are the Upper State bands that will be at Spring Valley Saturday. 92.275 - Northwestern 91.775 - Rock Hill 91.725 - Nation Ford 90.750 - Fort Mill 85.675 - Spartanburgh 83.900 - Clover 82.325 - T L Hanna As you can see, the difference between first and third was 0.550. Once you add in the seven schools from Lower State, this could turn out to be a real battle.

You wouldn't happen to know the placements of Upperstate 4a would you? I'm very interested to hear how that turned out.

I’ll pass the kind words along. I do believe that the six of them were just having too much fun. As I noted, they handed this piece out to the folks in the senior band only a few days before the concert as a chance to give one of the bedrock sections in the organization a little time to step out front and let their hair down (so to speak).

This is my marching band show this year. Our drill is 100 sets and our brass plays really high

@byakugan03 Fort Mill took first about 0.8 of a point over Nation Ford. Blue Ridge took third and Greer was forth. I’m sure that the results will be listed on the SCBDA site tomorrow, but do you know the standings for Lower State?

@crodriguez555 - This is the final exhibition performance on their home field for the parents, fans and locals on Nov 9th, 2009. The next week they took this show to Bands of America: Grand National Competition in Indianapolis. They didn’t make the finals, but the did earn a Superior rating and finished well in class AAA.

@xARK310x Thanks, and we hope y’all do as well with the show this time around. The squeals are done by the woodwinds. The flutes are trilling on on several notes half steps apart and the reeds are all purposely over-blowing the horn to cause the reeds to squeak. You’ll figure it out pretty quick.
