That's a great idea!!!!! I am going to do just that!!! BUT, here is what I think! I moved here in 1981, I went there the first time in 1993 and the business was booming!!!! Here is the rub!! I honestly think this dude is the owner!!!!! He was there way back in 1993!!!! Either he is getting paid very handsomely or he either IS the owner or AN owner!!!!

Wow,that's f'd up. Ive been to Shaffers hobby shop and Mark Twain hobby shop in St Louis very nice folks in both stores and decent prices and selection
There were 4 model shops in Springfield at one time! In fact one was a premier model train shop as well called Trainland! Well, they went away last year and now a nail salon is there! Soo sad!!! Another shop closed a couple of years ago and of the remaining 2 one right now ONLY specializes in RC!!!!! The final hobby store is rather small and they have a real small area that has only military kits!!! Went there yesterday and I'm not kidding here, he had a total of 8 model car kits, of which I already have 5 of them lol. So in our area, really all we have Charlie is Hobby Lobby!!!! Luckily I have a Hobby Lobby in Branson, 21 miles away, so it is the closest to me! LOL if I had a helicopter, I could get there in 5 minutes because by air it's 5 miles away LOL!!!!!! I love the lake here, but dang, you have to go all the way around it to get there lol!!!!! Paul

LOL I really do understand!!!! It took me about 3 weeks to figure out the format for my cards lol!!!! How I'm keeping my budget, might work for you!!! I designed the card, front and back, then printed it out on a heavy, very heavy card stock on my inkjet, then spraying in very light coats, an el-cheapo clear, from rustoleum lol. Look good and they will not run if rained on. Don't drop in water they will disintegrate lmao!!!!! You have a great one my friend!!!!! Paul

you got me by 5 years, I’m 62 and now retired. I did modeling as a 11-13 year old. I was into WWII models like Monogram's Patton Tank and armored half-track. My versions never looked like the box because I never had the paints so these models would end up being set on fire reenacting battles. Now i have the bug again and moey to invest in proper tools. Currenlty working on Polar Lights Capt. America model my kids got me for Father’s Day many many years ago because it was Capt. America of which I am a fanboy., not because I was into modeling. This is my first model since I was 13.
I want to apologize for replying to my first video!!! I didn't know how to go back and look lol. ANYWAYS, thank you so very much for that awesome comment!!!!!! OMG, LOL I did the exact same thing back in the day with some of my models lol!!! We grew up in a way different time! We would play army and I was the biggest kid so I ended up being the Germans lol! Because even though 2 of the other kids were my age and 1 year younger, I was still much bigger, BUT I won all the time LMAO! I played a lot by myself, so I would go behind the garage with a small pump oil can, with gas lol, and pretend it was a flame thrower lol. I had sooo many of the big GI Joes, you know what they are lol, that sometimes I would set them on fire LOL!!!! Anyways my friend, I do hope that I have earned your subscription as well, and I have added your name to my list for my giveaway!!!!!! Nice work!! My favorite gloss black is Mr Color GX2 Ueno black. I find it’s pretty forgiving to paint over the top of too. Used it for a base several times.

LMAO...no, I saw this and only thought "HUH.....that makes getting into small areas, where fat fingers can't get into, so much simpler!!" So..I bought it. Was well worth the money!!!! To be honest...that was my first thought as well!!!!! I have fat fingers and many times I have found it very difficult to get into smaller areas. Now...no more worries!!!!!! It has so many attachment arms that I would be hard pressed to find any areas it could not get into!!!!! Well...maybe on some of the miniatures you paint it might not fit. OH BTW......my best friend who I call my brother "Dennis" has been a 40K fan for well over 3 decades. At the time he purchased every 40K miniature there was, I was surprised that they were all metal!!!!!!!! Since I bought all these tools and paints he is coming over soon and we are going to use my tools and get some new paints, all of his died over 25 years ago lol, and we are going to start painting the ones up he has!!!!!!! So I say again THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR YOUR COMMENTS!!!!!!!

68 here...when I used to go to Woolworths on bridge st in Chippewa Falls Wisconsin...I was forbidden by my mother to spend more than 3.99 for any kit...my how times have changed

Had 2 failed back surgeries so I really can't sit for more than 15 minutes at a time! BUT, I grin and bear it!!!! All we can do!!! Thank you so much for your comment!!!!!!

...when I was a kid there was no way no 'fix' boogered chrome...AMT cars ruled in my day...my two brothers both had the Ford Model T kits - I was more into aircraft & armor but I did build a few cars...a Monogram Deusenberg with 'retractable' headlights...

Next time use a cotton ball to paint the thin thread. Dip in paint and sandwich the thread and pull it through. One or two times and you'll be done.

I origin airplanes and then went to tally started wayyyyyyy back in the day with WWII aircraft. I then moved into tanks and absolutely loved them!!! My plan is to build armor and vehicles from Vietnam!!!
