I discovered Dan Baird in Madrid, Spain at a popular basement music club called El Sol. After that night of joyous rock & roll, I was sold and a fan for life. Dan & his band really epitomize to me what rock & roll is all about. 😎

I personally admire Chris Cain and Kirk Fletcher, both similar in many ways , character wise. I rate them because , firstly, they are such great, humble, humorous guys and extremely gifted in music. Very down to earth people. Yeah, you can tell this new CD he mentions has a very personal connection.

Chic is a superb musician, really the equal of Alvin. If you ever had a doubt which should not be the case listen to I Can"t Live Without Lydia from Stonehenge. It is a mind blowing solo piano the likes of which only a high level pianist could do. Best Chick if you should ever look at this thread.

Sad to see him bitter after all these years towards Alvin Lee who was in most people's minds ten years after. His guitar skills and emotive vocals can only be imitated not duplicated.
