Love those weasels. Wish I had that kind of energy. ❤😂 2:22
Is that young bull from a year ago still tagging along with mom? Plus her one from this year. If that is true, she'll have quite a family following come spring. 😂
Community bath time in very cold water. Makes me cold just thinking of joining them. 😂
Very interesting footage.
Glad you enjoyed it
Did the back flood damage their dam?
No, it looks to be OK. Only issue is that a week earlier I had put a cam on the trickle of open water below the dam. Now it's under a bunch of water and ice!
@geraldromanchuk9598 Make you tempted to hike downstream and break up the ice jam?
Oh my goodness is the waterway stocked with fish if so is there a way to live stream it wow the ecosystem is amazing for wildlife to expand and grow they sure have a awesome place I’m so happy to see this thank you for sharing the videos what a great variety species there I’m so grateful to see this
Thanks, it's a great spot!
Thank you for caring and sharing your videos there’s nothing better than wonderful habitat in such a great environment with all these beautiful amazing creatures I feel humbled just watching thank you
Thanks for watching!
Whoa. More cougar behaviour!
Yeah, just wish the finale was a clearer!
Fantastic footage. Enjoy hearing the grouse do his mating wing beat. Thanks for sharing Enjoyed watching! 👍
Glad you liked it!
@ definitely 👍
0:52 So satisfying to watch the long duration capture of the cougar's behaviours
Yeah, nice to see a bit more than a walk by...
This video really tells a story! Your videos give so many amazing insights into the lives of wildlife. I so appreciate your sharing them, thank you.
Thank you so much!
First time I've seen two skunks at that den from your cameras. Maybe next year we'll see babies!
At about 1:25 in BeaverLodgeCam Movie 5, there's what I think is a young skunk. Can't prove it, but think there was a litter last year.
The skunk insights are really interesting. They look like they are going to be extremely snug and cozy.
They're sure working on it. Only showed a small fraction of the bedding they pulled in.
This is so interesting to see how skunks pack their den for winter. It's a view we don't get close too. Great video......without the scent. 😅
Thanks. Yep, scent free video😂
Very cool, that cougar looks healthy. The coyote not so much. Do you use lithium batteries? Great video
Thanks. Yeah, the coyote probably has mange. I use lithiums when I find them on sale, so some cams have alkalines and some lithiums.
Thanks for making these small scale sets and showing us the little guys.
Glad you like them!
Weasel stole the show --- what a show off! Great to see all of it!
Thanks!

Marten gets first prize.
It was a nice leap!
thank you for the IDs
You're welcome, thanks for watching
Well, between the mushroom toting and their other antics, the red squirrels were really the stars of the show
Yeah, they're pretty busy. Was interested to see the grouse continue to visit the log after prime breeding season in April- June. In the fall especially, the photo period mimics spring time and gets them drumming again.
@geraldromanchuk9598 I did think that that was one mixed up grouse when I saw it drumming. Never even considered the similar lighting period between spring and fall
1:10 LOL - I always thought it funny how you would mention the singleness when a single Sandpiper showed up by tagging the time stamp with Solitary Sandpiper . . .
. . . But now I have googled it
That's funny! Did you know that was the species name?
Really like your videos and the wide selection of wildlife you have. The cream colored weasels with the zoomies are great. For sure subscribed.
Thanks for subscribing!
The grouse photo bombing with his ruffs up is priceless!!
Yeah, he puts on a good show.
At least one of your east end gang looks a little dangerous. The martens and beavers (especially the littler guy! :) are my favourites. :D Great ending with pursuit by a frisky grouse!
Glad you liked the grouse ending!
1:30 Insect flyby cameo
Yeah, I'm not sure what kind of insect it is?
The awareness/inquisitiveness of that Martin is endearing
They are awesome critters!
Long-tailed weasels are my new favourite mammal! Great video.
Thanks!
Good location for seeing the little guys. And glad you id'd them in the annotation chapters.
Thanks for watching!
Very good
Thanks!
Great footage. I love Canada.
Glad you enjoyed it
1:00 LOL
Wow. Great variety of critters doing fun activities! 😄
It's a good spot. Too bad the water dried up, might've been even more activity.
What a beautiful selection of wildlife! Thanks for sharing! 🌝
Thanks for watching!
Very nice photocaptures. A good set. The quality and contrast of the IR clips is impressive, and its always a treat to see weasels.
Many thanks!
2:46 so nice to see the beaver kits
Amazing footage! Loved seeing the variety of animals.
Glad you enjoyed
Great cast of characters and dandy clips. What species of beebooper was that?
Thanks! Not sure what a "beebooper" is, but maybe you're talking about the Spotted Sandpiper? There's a list of all the species and the time they show up in the video description.
@@geraldromanchuk9598 Thanks for cluing me in.
Do you have an estimate for how long the camera was submerged?
30 minutes after being submerged the next video showed the water level back down to normal. All we know for sure is that the cam was under for less than 30 minutes. I'd guess it was submerged for less than 5 minutes
@geraldromanchuk9598 I am surprised that the batteries and elecronics didn't short out. Trail cams are water resistant. What brand of trail camera do you use?
Thank you for including the camera flooding event.
It was interesting to see
Between the Raven and the flood your cameras are sure taking a beating
Yeah, it's been a rough stretch
1:14 trying to figure out what that Beaver has on its back- is it just mud? Seeing the flood from the underwater camera was crazy!
I think it's a piece of bark
The corvid, charging/dancing skunk, jumping mice and martens are fun! 😀
Yeah!
Nice footage. That raven knew the camera was watching!
You got that right!
Wow! Thanks!
No problem!
👍👍
Do enjoy when that skunk shows up on your cams :)
Skunks are cool😎
Nice set with a good perspective. Nice to see the beaver's mud work and the visitors.
Thanks 👍
0:56 Slip sliding away for that poor little killdeer
I'm sure he'll be OK😀
Fantastic video captures. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it
Great captures!
Thanks!
