Dang,early on I asked my gf to take me out and pay for all of it.She acted hurt and tried to manipulate me with her 'upset' feelings.I just said 'is that a yes or a no'...well she did take me out and i did what she always did.I ordered way more than i could eat ,asked for a carry out and told her ill eat the leftovers for lunch at work.She was furious.She knew i sent her a message.That whole night was about me making a fool out of her. Earlier in the movie, while his daughter was on another tirade she told him that he couldn't even stand up and walk a few steps to embrace her... This last scene is him doing exactly that. It is the absolute last thing that he did while alive, he gave it all he had to show her she meant everything to him then he passed...
