Came across jacksons music about 10 years ago. Blues run the game/ milk and honey being the stand outs. It was a recommendation while listening to Nick Drake... another tragic story yet wonderful musician. This is exactly what I was looking for while knowing the basics of his life but wanting to know more. The fact that he was such a great talent yet suffered with high levels of nerves and anxiety makes me appreciate the guy even more. I read another sad story about a blues musician " blind Willie mctell" born in 1898 ended up pretty similar to jackson living on the streets. Anyway, great video will no doubt revisit this again and again

I think Sad Eyed Lady was about Sara and Joan Baez. Sara is Jewish and she wouldn't be wearing a cross while Joan Baez would be more likely to wear one. I think it's a song about both women. He had strong feelings for both.
