Riven(2024) Best Ending Glitched 22:08 (WR)
First try OOB drop.
First try animal puzzle.
Lots of messy play all over.
Sub 22 seems quite possible.
I think it's possible do OOB drop on the first spin of the Maglev instead
of the second.
Still do not know what causes the trap book to make Gehn trap himself. Maybe this glitch could be triggered sooner.

Maglev wrong warp? Not sure on what's affecting what here. Satchel glitch a Maglev so that you can interact with the trap book while making the Maglev go. Use the trap book after the skipping transition thing starts for the Maglev (screen starts to go black). MAGIC, and Gehn has trapped himself.

A bit after the elevator door closes you can load a save. Or, in this case a checkpoint. Conveniently this checkpoint is made when Catherine is considered saved, and the elevator is still at the top.

It starts with clicking on the Riven linking book while reading. You can then hit ESC while loading into Riven and get a brief menu that allows you to save. Since it's a save and not an autosave it wont be overwritten, and you can do things with it. The trick is avoiding loading near the cage, since it locks you in place and plays the Cho cutscene. Not shown is me grabbing a vehicle glitch before doing this so that I can sky walk. This is the SE OOB glitch with an added attempt to start a new game during it. The extra load seems to cause a black screen. Then moving forward for a few seconds, then back a few seconds (maybe multiple times?) causes SE to load in, and you have super speed. If you load a save near an open dome you can press the dome opening button to load into SE OOB, and then fall OOB. If you are too close to the dome for your save trying to vehicle glitch (sky walk?) will have you blocked by the slight change of z-axis that is the wooden bridge. Satchel glitch the Maglev, then read while telling it to go. Esc and load another save immediately. You should fall through the floor, and be able to cycle reading a book to warp to a safe place.

You can fling just after the 3rd band of light in the cave to get stuck on the bridge closer to Gehn's lab. This means you do not have to walk closer to Gehn's lab before reading, and you get to skip a load!

I never understood why they didnt just pick a world track for each dream. They change and its so jarring and weird. At least the underwater bubble maze theme and strangeworld themes are pretty bangin. I grew up with this game beat it all the time. Always had fun but the game is painfully simple. Only real question i have is why are the speedruns done in hard mode? Wouldnt the extra heart from easy mode make certain sections faster?
what is the difference between easy, medium, and hard mode in this game?
I could never beat this game when I was an kid and now out of nowhere it came to my mind to look for a speed run lol

Thanks. Hopefully it comes down even further in the future. There's enough meat left on the bone for some good time saves. However, I think I'm done. Besides maybe going after the big skip in The Alps, when I'm feeling crazy.
