Thank you. Couldn't find information on this anywhere else.
Many lights come with a stand which has a threaded hole on the bottom so YOU CAN attach to a tripod. You can also buy remote flash triggers and receivers which turn any flash into OCF, which also have a tripod mount. I have never bought a light stand. And I would not recommend putting a ring light right in front of the camera unless you want the most ugly light possible on your subject.
Do you see any benefit with a light stand over a camera tripod if one already owns one that can be used with a spigot as an adapter?
Typically Tripods are more stable as they can support more weight, but it all depends on the size and weight of the stand in question.
This video is very helpful. Please where can I find the spigot for the flashlight stand. Mine got missing 😭😭😭

Can light stand as a tripod?
Hi there, a stand can act as a tripod, with additional expensive attachments, BUT you won't have the flexibility of movement with the camera - We recommend only using a tripod for a camera, not a light stand.
does the adpater work for any ring light please reply because i am looking at getting a ring light but im not sure if this adapter would work please help me out

Can you use a tablet for it
Hi Gilbert, unfortunately we don't have an adapter for tablets, only phones, you might be able to find a third party solution for this as the light has a standard 3/8" (tripod style) screw hole.

I bought my stand, but it didn't come with that neck piece you screwed in. I have been trying to attach my ring light to the stand for days with no luck!! My ring light came with a Z shaped bar that screws into those two bolts you showed, but I think that is for the camera. I have no idea how to attach it to the stand

can yu only use phones for this ring light or can yu use a dslr?
If you want to use a DSLR, we recommend a separate tripod behind the ringlight, as most DSLR's are heavy and need the proper support.
With an adapter, but we recommend a tripod.
