I think they live longer if they have a good life, so Elders have variable extra days. The earlier they complete their aspiration/get perma-platinum the longer they live, I believe.

Omg I did not see the fire death coming! I think witches can cast spells to extinguish fires but idk if she would have had the reagents or would have been able to. 😢

Maybe you know this by now, but the wish for Wealth drops multiple bags over time and if you wish for it again, or somehow interrupt the process, you won’t get the full number of bags.

You were definitely adding a boatload of sims! I am so curious to see if you keep that up in future videos! Speed running this challenge. 😊

I wasn’t sure exactly what rules you were using at first, since so many people use the new/heavily altered rules for their BaCC, but you are using the same rules I do so that’s pretty exciting! I think you’re further than me, though, based on your neighborhood overview video that I watched. I love this challenge and I’ve honestly just used it more as like a guideline on how to play and less of a race to the finish line. I’m just barely above 5,000 population I think and I’m on the third born in game generation, so fourth generation if you count the founders. I’m so happy I found your channel!

I am with you on the ugly townies. 🫣 I love unique and diverse looking sims and I don’t need all of my sims to be conventionally attractive but some of the Sims 2 face templates are… a lot! I have custom face templates because of it.

Maybe you address this later on but plantsim babies are a genetic combination of the sim and the Ideal Plantsim, so they won’t be clones. And I’m jealous, I’ve been trying to get a plantsim in my neighborhood for a long time with no luck! 2 videos down and like 90 to go haha.

Glad you’re back with this challenge! I didn’t know if you knew this or not, but you can actually use MCC to pause pregnancies for households you aren’t currently playing when you’re with other families. You have to buy a computer in order to change it in the settings though, but you can delete it afterwards.

Regarding the alien genetics, you could also try a mod called "equal genetics" which kind of gets rid of the dominant / recessive genes feature and makes it so all genes have an equal chance of getting passed on? That poor toddler, LOL. He got the eye shape but apparently not the eye colour hahaha
