Tamiya WR02 Suzuki Jimny 3s Lipo Brushless RUN!
Rebuild with every hop up after market bit I could find
3s Lipo
Sidewinder 3 ESC.
Castle 1406-5700Kv motor.
Yeah Racing Duel wheelie bar kit.
Yeah Racing Long span arm kit.
Full ball raced.
All sorts of Active racing alloy bits.
Few clips taken over a couple of days, learning process, tyres eventually belted with duck tape, and glued to rims to stop them flying off… haha.

This is so silly, I love it.
うぎゃあー俺のアルミパーツがー(笑)
I used to have a crazy fast brushless Lunch Box, broke almost everything on it except the gears and broke something almost everytime driving it but very fun.
Haha, yes I know what you mean. Certainly have to be pretty care full not to hit anything, especially when the speed gets right up there! Pretty unforgiving if you do.
SOOOO awesome
Fantastic! what would you charge to build one
I honestly don’t think a lot of the parts I used are available anymore 😢
@@rcshed4495 could you get some thing as close to it as possible or would you be willing to sell yours?
@@rcshed4495 and thanks for getting back to me
@@giovannigonzalez3545 You could certainly put a really over powered motor in one still, its of the alloy bits by Yeah racing etc.. I just had a quick search its possible you might be able to find most of these parts still. Sorry this one lives on my shelve now a days, I spent quite a lot of money on it.
@@rcshed4495 thank you for getting back to me and explaining everything … I really appreciate it …for now I will try to just throw the black motor in it and see how that works. But if you’re ever interested in selling it, please let me know. I appreciate people who put effort and time into some thing, and whatever price you decide I’m sure it will be worth it. Please let me know. Thank you.
How were you able to fit a 3s lipo to a WR02 chassis?
i’ve got a few 2200mah 3S 35-70C Turnigy Nanotech batteries, they fit in the factory battery compartment fine. There are others around now that are the same size as the original battery packs.
Whats the colour you used??
Tamiya PS54 Cobalt Green
@@rcshed4495 Thanks so much 👍🏻
Love the rc body and the speedrun fun.
Where did you get that body! Want it bad. Looks great.
Tamiya sold the WR02 kit with the Suzuki Jimny body tamiyabase.com/tamiya-models/58531-58531
WW1 waiting for its blue parts :-)
Do you mind if I copy this build? I also have a wr02 (but it has the vw bus body shell, I won’t replace the shell)
Go for it, I Have the VW Bus WR02 also, painting that body shell+ all the decals is so much work! looks awesome when done tho.
When’s your next video?
Yes, I should get back onto that.
love the fact that it wheelies even when at high speed. Its got that much power left!
Haha, yeah its basically a job of carefully feathering the throttle to stop it doing reverse power cartwheels
I just realized this is a wr-02 chassis and not the GF-01. I am using the GF-01. My comical is already a wr. I want to try the 4 wheel drive aspect of the GF.
Oh nice, I don't have one of those yet, 4 wheel dive should give you a bit more control thats for sure. This thing can be hard to keep in a straight line when on gravel etc.
Nice work man. I guess you kind of have to ease into the throttle. ha ha It totally rips. I should be getting one in a week or so and will mod mine out some. I sure like the tires you picked for your build. The Willy bar is also super cool looking. I wonder what parts are available now. The video is 5 years old. Anyways ... GREAT JOB! love how you set it up. 👍👍🏆🏆
The upgrades are beyond perfect. Great job. 👍
Thanks! It was really hard to find all the parts
The upgrades are beyond perfect. Great job. 👍
That is beast. Gonna do the same thing with a metalic blue body.
Thanks! They are certainly a bit of a hand full to drive at times.
@@rcshed4495 I was thinking I might do the same thing with the Wild WIlly Kit, They are both the WR02 platform right?
@@rcshed4495 I Got started late with these. Four years late but I got my first Comical Grasshopper now. Going to use a 23 turn brushed on it but want to step up next to brushless. Will the plastic gears handle that power long term?
@@mattster197 Yeah same platform / chassis. The Wild willy body might not be quite as forgiving during high speed rollovers tho!
@@rcshed4495 True, at least with that body I could shoegu the interior. durability.
Оболденная машина!❤❤❤ Хочу такую!
Beautiful!
Wau but something of great the part class! thanks for the video
Great modifications and animation work !!!! すごい。(゜◡゜)
Woooow - Woooow - Woooow ... what a cool video and what a cool RC !!! 🤩🤩🤩
This is good you should do more content
Lol omg bro…..nice ! Pure insanity 😎👍
Cheers!
There is a brace for the steering servo and I can not find that part of what it is called. I tried zooming in on the part and using the numbers from the package and going to the website manufacturer, but I can not find the part. It is needed. I need that part. I find to much sloppiness in the steering servo mounting location and it needs this part. HELP!
The part is from Active Hobby. But not sure it's available anymore. Its called "Active Hobby STR287 aluminium servo mount and cover for WR02" I've got the packet and instructions in of me, but can't seem to find anything like it online anymore. Purchased way back in 2017 :(
@@rcshed4495 I see that. I can't find anything like it on their site anymore. That part is so needed. have you ever looked at the servo when you manually move it by hand? The thing is sloppy all around.
@@UlisesBatalla Mine doesn't seem to move at all.
where do you get active racing products?
RcMart, was a while back tho.
How do you like the Yeah Racing Wheelie bar.
A big upgrade over the stock one, impressed how well it works even across grass etc.. This little suzuki is way over powered and it still has taken a heap of abuse without any issues.
4years later and I see the video and I am Like number 800 👍🏼 the work you put in to this video is amazing.
Thanks, appreciate the comment. Yes stop motion is fun, but so crazy labor intensive.. I've got a ton of unbuilt kits but never seems to be enough free life to actually put the 100’s of hours to doing some more fliming, hopefully in the not too distant future. :)
Amazing !! Just awesome mate 👌
That looks great.. All the hop-up options... Now I want them hahah..
... And I ordered the hop up parts lol.. Even before the car gets here.
Awesome
豪華なフルオプションですね。
Wow! That thing is crazy!
Is there a reason for why you changed into these soft spike tyres? Wouldn’t it be too bloated for that speed? Did you try it with the originals or the ones that comes with the wild Willy silver rims?
I just likes the look of the spiked tyres. The inside of the tyres are taped on the inside (sort of acts a bit like a steel belt in a real tyre) stoped then expanding and exploding off rims. I bought the silver Wild Willy rims new as a part only. Didn’t come with tyres 😊 I did do some tests with the original rims, didn’t make much difference either design exploded off unless taped and glued to rim. Motor setup is a bit extreme. Lots of fun tho!
Very interesting, can the stock gears stand it for long?
I've broken 1 of the dog bone drive shafts, but other than that has been fine :)
Great video. Do you have a list of the part numbers for the products you used?
Hi there, not sure the part numbers, but this is all the parts. Yeah Racing Shock 60mm Damper Set Yeah Racing WR02 Aluminum Long-Span Suspension Kit Yeah Racing Aluminum Shock Absorb Wheelie Bar WR02 Tamiya F Parts Black Plated Active Hobby Aluminum Adjustable Upper Arm WR02 Active Hobby Aluminum Servo Mount Sliver For Tamiya WR-02 Active Hobby Aluminum Skid Bumper Blue For WR-02 Active Hobby Aluminum Motor Guard WR02 Active Hobby Aluminum Body Mount Tower Bars I basically went onto RCmart.com and Ebay.com and bought everything I could find for the WR02 chassis.
Speed kills, even in a R/C buggy. :(
Its still alive and going well :)
0:35 just casually hopping on the back wheels at speed, that was amazing
Such a hand full to control, thanks! :)
Love it! It’s always awesome to see someone mod something there vision the outcome it all come together. Great job!! An for the people that gave it a thumbs down your dicks so small you piss on your balls!!!!
Just like my Midnight Pumpkin lol ...no one knows just how hard but fun it is .
Do you have a list of all the parts you used? Well done!
Hey, I basically went onto RCmart.com and Ebay.com and bought everything I could find for the WR02 chassis, Yeah Racing Active hobby were the main two brands.
