When I connect the device to the computer or the DAW, I don't know how to disable monitoring. I always hear myself twice, and I don't know how to make the signal go through the VT-4 and come out through the DAW without having to hear it through the headphones connected to the VT-4.

You know I used to think that Rytm MK2’s pads suck when I first got it but then realised how incredibly consistent they are velocity wise. You really have to drum on them, I use two fingers. I’ve had an MPC Live MK2 and loved how easy you could trigger the pads and the different velocity curves so when I got the Rytm I was a bit disappointed but with time got used to them, they’re just different really.

Hey, what's your set-up of the wheel and pedals? Have you just got it clamped to your desk and the pedals up against a wall? Or have you got a racing sim chair

Also, no 9v in if your not near a USB power source and no balanced mic audio out = fail. I'm not impressed with this unit.

I love the Tempest, but the Rytm really is the more immediately great sounding, all-round, sample-sequencing device all round. That said, there are things in the Tempest you could never dream of making with the Rytm. Though those blessed to own both machines can sample said dreams from the Tempest into the Rytm. :)

They added dual VCO and SyRaw to the Rytm. Would that change your opinion?

I don't normally like artist's using something like this instead of having the vocal talent, for pro's. I myself am Far from PRO, I am just starting to try and learn how to sing while playing my guitar but I had throat surgery to correct a condition where a pocket developed in my throat and when they did the surgery some of my vocal cords were damaged so now I can't hit high notes like I used to and this corrects that issue without sounding like that Cher song that is clearly all vocal transformation. I'm getting used to the function's but the feedback was an issue and this helped me to minimize the noise and feedback without having to use head phones. Thanks for the video I'll be referencing it as I go along.
