I'm sure this is a basic question but my app doesn't show depth. Im using the trial version. Instead it shows "depth contour" how can I change it to show depth in ft?
it will not show the depth unless you are using the Vexilar Sonar phone. it will just show the contours
My lowrance carbon says triton on the home screen how do I get that off

Hello there, I have an elite 9ti and I am having issue with scroll speed syncing between 2d Sonar and Structure scan, if I adjust the scroll speed on traditional sonar, and I have a split page with traditional sonar and down imaging, the scrolling speed of the 2d sonar will be faster than down imaging. How can I adjust the scroll speed on down imaging to match 2d sonar? Thank you
My hds7 only tracks my downrigger weights and gives false fish readings. When I don't use downriggers I get fish locations and depth. How can this be fixed

I just got the hook 4 Lowrance and I can't seem to get solid arches so I use the fish id any way to adjust to get nice arches also they have the nautic pro(not the lake pro) rebate map card any info it is any good
Gary, there are lots of variables on getting the perfect fish arch, speed, depth of fish and size of fish, possibly the angle of the transducer. If your on Facebook get some pictures of your screen without the fish id on and post them on Doctor Sonar Facebook page so I can see what your seeing. BTW Fish ID is a very very inaccurate way to id fish. Lake map. its probably ok. What kind of price do they have on it? You can look at the Lake List on the Lowrance website to see if your lakes are listed as HD. You can also look at Navionics lake maps online the actual maps to see what the lake looks like.
Thanks for the info on the fish ID mine is a hook 4 with a rebate card 299 at bass pro I got it because of the GPS dsi and sonar and I'm not too experienced with fish finders so I didn't spend too much I don't have a face book but I can maybe email if possible I usually put around until I see something on sonar then fish that area (with fish ID on) then I switch it to sonar image and still no arches of what is supposed to be a positive I'd fish
If you get a chance check DoctorSonar.com on the inter webs, Doc has lots of great articles on understanding sonar. He also has tutorial DVD on how to use your sonar also. It will be for the Elite but the Hook is basically the same unit. Shoot an email to the on Doc’s website with some pictures. Kirt

Did on both sites thanks. What I did was set the TI 7 touch the same as my GEN 2 7 touch. The Si looks good. It just the down has a black bottom. Thanks
Nice vid. I'd like to figure out how/why the arches are shaped differently at times. For example with one side short and fat and the other thin and elongated.
+misesmedicine Many things come into play on fish arches. Speed, distance from transducer, size of fish are a couple. Check out Doc's website he has good articles on this subject doctorsonar.com/blogs/educational-articles
often this is a case of a fish rising towards the boat and dropping away from it. A mark that is heavier on the right hand side is more often than not rising in the water column, heavier on the left hand side the fish is sinking lower. We see this day in day out trolling for billfish.
