@ I wouldnt say I had a wild shift of opinion - I just look at his dimensions, look at his movement and skills and then make a judgement if I think Id do ok against him or if Id just be like 'wtf lol'... and if I think id do ok hes probably mid... not saying at all id win - even though im way bigger than him, but he wouldnt just be out of the question to catch or jab to death or something - ergo mid. Thats my personal opinion - it has always been, that one eye is a real disadvantage objectively and contributes alot to that opinion.

Not gonna lie, idk why shara wouldnt even attempt grappling. 6" reach advantage, mixed with mvp playing defense 97% of the fight as the counterstriker he is. Mvp even said "yeah after the first round, i knew i would win. He never grappled me".😭😭😭 If he isnt gonna bring the fight to you, youre gonna have to bring the fight to him. His striking is his best skillset.

he may have started to slide, but it wasnt recognizable until two ot three yards, when you are committed to the tackle, all of your weight is forward, in order to jump over, he would need to recognize the slide, stop his forward momentum, and leap up into the air in less than half a second which is nearly impossible

Fake slides are illegal mate and TL was not close enough to fake out the side yes he did slide a bit late but the other player can try to avoid them he had both of his Feet on the ground and could have redirected trust me it's possible I did it when I played DE

@@Godsoldiergaming As far as I am aware fake slides are absolutely legal in the NFL and QBs like Mahomes do it whether that be fake sliding or pretending to go out of bounds. It's ILLEGAL in College football, not the NFL. You just acknowledged he slid late, everything else is a moot point. He slid late, you aren't stopping the momentum of a defender from slamming right into the QB a second before coming into contact, it's unreasonable as hell. I think his forearm was dirty, but I also think he was anticipating him standing up and not sliding so he was trying to take the legs out. You aren't the only one who has played football my boy, you saying you would redirect your momentum elsewhere in a second is not convincing considering you have no credentials nor do we know your body composition or 40 yard time. TL committed to the slide at the exact time the defender planted his foot and committed to the tackle. Again, if the QB is going to keep the ball like a RB, he will for all intents and purposes be a RB and you don't see players jumping the guy who just slammed their running back because it's an accepted consequence of the position.

Tldr, fake slides are legal in the NFL, illegal in College Football as far as I'm aware; and you acknowledged that his slide was late, its unreasonable to expect a blocker coming down for a tackle at full speed in his weight and speed class to divert all of his momentum in a split second when they both committed to the slide and the tackle at the same time.

@@KyleRoberts-z8rhe couldn’t have jumped over him there, the elbow to the head was bad but what’s the other option? He finna get hit either way so it’s helmet to helmet shoulder to helmet or elbow to helmet. Hitting him with the elbow was likely the best option despite him not deciding to do that.
