On Saturday 6th April 2024 Chris Vaughan decided to call it a day and hang up his boots after 17 years playing regularly for Southend Saxons... here are just a few words from some of his ex team mates and Coach(es)..

Sat 6th April 2024 saw the Southend Saxons officially crowned "Regional Anglia Two" Champions.I have compiled a short video documenting the day for the club and its members, especially as Chris Vaughan called it a day on his playing career.
