We go from an amazing spider-man (oh dear forgive the kind of pun/reference) audio description transition, to... this, and I'm here for it. This video was laugh-inducing from beginning to end. I must, obviously, be way too easily amused.

I haven't had a chance to see this one so thanks for the opportunity, because that mission can't be done without sighted help the nav assist gets stuck. I love how for this you guys were able to describe sidequests and such, absolutely brilliant.

How did you manage this one without lock on i cant get it right myself

This is so cool!!!! Congratulations! I've barely gotten past the first mission because the navigation assist the game has doesn't work for me at all, but I have used Nyx to fetch things and I love him already! I did send an email to Ubisoft telling them that the navigation assist the game has doesn't work for a totally blind person. There isn't a sound queue or a button that points you in the right direction, it just tells you how many degrees to turn and it doesn't take obstacles into account so it's very tedious and confusing to get where I need to go. Unfortunately they said they don't have any plans to fix it anytime soon, but they said they would pass the feedback along to the team. I'm hoping that means it will be fixed at some point. I even said the navigation assistance they have might work for someone with partial vision And that they didn't have to remove it completely, but add a secondary feature for people who are totally blind and rely on navigation assist and gave a few examples like the last of us and Spider-Man two. I don't really have an opinion on the story yet because I'm still trying to get off the main planet, but once that gets fixed I would love to play it some more. Also when you talk to the guy who can repair your tablet, audio description wasn't reading his subtitles so I don't know what he was saying to Kay. :)

I really appreciate how detailed audio description is with the different camera angles. I never thought about buildings looking like they're tilted sideways depending on how Spider-Man is positioned on them.

Micro-expressions are things that we see but don't consciously notice. I wonder how you could describe those.

it bothers me a little when the describer reads into things and presume things I would rather know what is being seen right there and the facial expressions given I don’t want somebody to assume that the character is thinking about things when they could just be frustrated or something this isn’t to say that I don’t appreciate other regions like the UK’s audio description. I do because sometimes they are the only shows we can get our hands on.

I love coming to RUclips to find all of the Spider-Man 2 cutscenes audio described so that I can show a friend how I played the game and then as soon as I get close I find one of the people who worked on the audio descriptions just making offhand Mortal Kombat shitposts. Man I love this website.

Thanks for the video, I’ll have to try this method out. What I have been doing is using Scorpion with 90 defense, breaking my fingers by doing continuous instant air meter burn teleports. I get so close and then I’ll die in the final seconds.

I'm holding onto an extra translucency field I purchased like grim death in case I run into another one of these projectile survive encounters crucial to progression. No mandatory survives in the fire temple, thank goodness. lol
