Quick question, do you have to use primer on an existing dark blue paint? I'm going to paint my truck using single stage. Also, do you need to reduce the single stage or just add the activator

It have gloss in solid paint yes.... No need to paint clear right?

Nice clean work. I am in the UK and painting 5 panels on my motorbike 2morrow. A Honda VFR 750. Paint code R158P - Pure Red Pearl, got red and gold fine Mica particules. Using the Iwata Bellaria for Base and the Iwata WS400 for clear coat. Will give it 3 coats! Just in case it needs sanding and buffing.

Is black primer good for dark blue metallic paint.

No offense but this isn’t a “how to” video man. You don’t tell any of the materials you used or any of the spray set. Or give any information at all for that matter. Maybe edit with voiceover??? Just a thought
