Team Missing Link of famous palaeontologists went to Svalbard for a fossile Hunt in 2018. Through three intense weeks of research and hard work, they found a magnificent skeleton of ichthyosaurus, several species of rare placoderms and the remains of one of the oldest forest on Earth.
Colleagues from University of Fribourg joined the expedition to describe unique polar geomorphological features which offers the Svalbard archipelago.
Exhibition of these discoveries is visible at the National History Museum of Fribourg (CH), from May 2021 to January 2022. Free entrance.
