Since we're in self-isolation like most of the world, my brother and I decided to record ourselves playing an old fave, each from our respective cities of San Diego and Seattle. Beau Soir is an art song written by Claude Debussy set to a poem by Paul Bourget. Arranged for violin by Jascha Heifetz

Now that was a good and also shows a life of a rock which is by far the most headrest life’s ever😢😌😀🙂😺
Great score! Can you speak on how you orchestrated such a simple theme into something so beautiful (specifically around 7:08)? I am entering this year and would like to know how you developed your themes for this film.
Very nice - I've never seen anything like this with a Rhodes. Are you using a contact mic to pick up the percussive part at the beginning? What pedals are you using to get the chorus fx?
Hey thanks @aaronguir. No contact mic, just hitting the tone bars, which is getting picked up by the Rhodes' pickups. As to pedals, there's no chorus specifically...the modulation you're hearing is from a ZVEX Instant Lo-Fi Junky. Very rad pedal.
+Nicolas Danielson Thank you for sharing. I look forward to more videos like this.
Hi Nic, I think your score is absolutely wonderful! Congratulations on making the finals. (When the finalists were announced, I recognized your name because I had also participated in the Zurich competition last year, and I am not surprised you made the finals in the Hamlisch Competition, as well, your music is that good!)
Hi Carolyn, thanks so much for your kind words! Very cool you've been doing the competitions as well, I'll check out your channel! :)
