Train Like This for Superior Accuracy
Просмотров 30814 дней назад
In this short tutorial, I show you how to practice developing your skills, technique, and accuracy. You want to go slow, focusing on each detail so your brain registers, comprehends, and absorbs the techniques into your subconscious pathways. You must be conscious of every step, and to do that, practice must be slow and deliberate. Slow down the drills, and in this video, I provide an example o...

Sport vs. Fight Mentality: Where Do You Stand?
Просмотров 18121 день назад
It's good to know where you sit on what I call the sport vs fight spectrum. One one hand you have the fighters who view the fight as more a sport- technical, gamified etc then others who view it as more a fight with rules, and think more with "bad intentions". Both have their pros and cons, but one I think serves you more than the other, if you had to choose! JOIN OUR 8TRIBE COMMUNITY HERE 👉 ww...

With shot knees MT is out of the question unfortunately....
The snicky knee is a very good idea. i love it. Thanks haboub
🐯
This was great
Could have easily worked this put yourself with a partner.
This deserves way more views!
I'm curious your thoughts on people that have had foot injuries getting back into practice and sparring. Im about 4 months out from a foot surgery. I am curious if you have any experience with this? I'm definitely going to listen to my doc regardless. Cheers
Coach is the reason my success always I owe u a lot .. thanks for ur every advise and guidance most kindest human I met in earth 🫶🙏
How to get the strong heart 💕💪?i love mt but i always scared😢....i want pro❤
Wow 3 days ago?,, he's even still fit for his age, I wish you make more of this kind of sorta documentaries on various Styles of more Golden era fighters,,, Btw why Is he wearing that bandage on knee,, ?
Yeah he’s still very strong and can still move well. On his knee is for support, from past surgery.
Video was worth the wait, great stuff
🙏
THIS IS GOLD
Appreciate it 🙏
This is pure gold. A lot better than the one Sylvie did with him
Thanks for watching 🙏
They are different styles of videos. This one is way more instructional compared to Sylvie’s where there is some instruction but the main bulk of the learning comes from watching everything Lamnamoon talks about be applied in the pads and clinching. I personally preferred the Sylvie vid but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t learn a lot from this and really enjoyed it
Nice segment
Lovely insight into Lamnamoon as a person and teaching style. Ive seen everything with him in the Muay Thai Library but this was good and different so absolutely added value. Especially to see how good his english is. Im looking to go there in the future and learn his Muay Khao. Thanks
By the way. Those knees to the bottom of the ribs... I could feel them from here even with just that little touch. Imagine full power.
Weird that the U.K wasn't mentioned in the country list, considering Haggerty and Harrison, and all the kickboxers from there as well.
Of course, we must of forgot! UK definitely up there with the best. 🇬🇧
My Kru showed that upward knee from the clinch to the ribs it's so painful and it's so deceptively effective since to a naked eye it doesn't look very devastating, but boi it hurts like mf.
Oh yeah, 100% deceptive but effective!
Lamnamoon is one of a kind, one of the most genuine people I have ever met
Agree..Ive also met him a lovely man with great skills:)
He really is! He seems to have made an impact of a lot of people!
Awesome combo like badr hari
When is the Lamnamoon vid dropping?
Tonight 9pm Bangkok time!
@@8TribeMuayThai8 awesome can’t wait
Make sense. i find its only possible to do that with partner that have experience.. The new comers i find only want to hit hard instead of working on their techniques
💯
@@QsQs-du9xp I find the easy fix is to call it out, surely not all the beginners are like this unless you have a class of ten
Good words Recently I’ve been thinking of the following -being more assertive -counter kicks -thinking about points But big one being less nice to the point it never feels like “give n take” (vs those same level or higher)
Thanks
still underrated channel and content, thanks
🙏
Simple and effective
I'm gonna be 38 in 3 days, I do have some physical drawbacks, but I no longer subscribe to the belief that I'm not capable of fighting. I *will* fight, and I *will* win. I know this. 🙏🏻💙🔥🙇🏻
👌👊🔥
@@8TribeMuayThai8 🙏🏻💙🔥🙇🏻
Does it take a while to learn how to tense the forearms while relaxing the shoulders?
If you had to choose, focus on relaxing shoulders first, and just not having your forearms too floppy. I don't think it takes long at all if you put attention to it... maybe a week or so of focused effort to get into the habit
@@8TribeMuayThai8 Thank you. 🙏🏻💙
Very useful video! Thank you!
welcome!
Wallahi. i wish i can train with this coach. I love his style of teaching
Yallah! Pack your bags and come visit!
I'm your first viewer brother. Call out from your San Diego, CA SMTF crew.
Brother! Miss you guys!!
@@8TribeMuayThai8 things are the same here. I’d love to do a collaboration. I’ll tryout some of your moves off your videos with Bizz and get your feedback… or something like that.
Amazing. Thank you !
Really fine helpful details
Great instructions thanks!
I was almost off the spectrum fight side. “The cage is a structured outlet for my Rage”.
Fantastic video. My coach says the same 🫡
Described my first in house. When I was aggressive it was a lot better
Great advice! Comments like this help give boxing a good name.
This really cool because I think like this about life I love Muay Thai and love jiu jitsu but these principles apply in life. In a real fight where you are there to defend yourself it’s better to have bad intentions and with working out in your gym it’s ok to practice great techniques and have full respect to help everyone get better but real life it’s a fight so to train the two spectrums is a great balance of two forces.
As always top notch coaching ❤ much love coach
Do you mean "vertical" ? 😀 Thanks for the great content!
Yes! Thank you!
Thank you for every detail and the excellent work; your passion is evident. Some coaches lose their passion: they only criticize the students instead of guiding them and think about money
🙏
So you hit with the shin and kind of dig or slice with the kick?
I believe that is very powerful if landed, nice
much needed!
Bravissimo!
What else are you gonna teach me (again)
Awesome stuff the way you show it. I’d like to hand over some kudo’s. You break it down quite honestly this jab. I can understand your point well. (I’m not an English native).
I'm glad to hear that! 🙏
Another awesome explainer/reminder. These bit of info are valuable. I’d love to see a video of you trying to sweep like the Thai can. Fudge, that hurts the confidence.
As a slightly mediocre fighter (with 18+ years of experience), I’d like to thank you for allowing me to realize more consciously the importance of distance. I’m looking forward to see you share more insights I kinda know, but really sink in when you explain them in a similar manner. Kudos +
💯
Good advice man, will implement. Thank you
