Train Like This for Superior Accuracy
Просмотров 30814 дней назад
In this short tutorial, I show you how to practice developing your skills, technique, and accuracy. You want to go slow, focusing on each detail so your brain registers, comprehends, and absorbs the techniques into your subconscious pathways. You must be conscious of every step, and to do that, practice must be slow and deliberate. Slow down the drills, and in this video, I provide an example o...

Sport vs. Fight Mentality: Where Do You Stand?
Просмотров 18121 день назад
It's good to know where you sit on what I call the sport vs fight spectrum. One one hand you have the fighters who view the fight as more a sport- technical, gamified etc then others who view it as more a fight with rules, and think more with "bad intentions". Both have their pros and cons, but one I think serves you more than the other, if you had to choose! JOIN OUR 8TRIBE COMMUNITY HERE 👉 ww...

They are different styles of videos. This one is way more instructional compared to Sylvie’s where there is some instruction but the main bulk of the learning comes from watching everything Lamnamoon talks about be applied in the pads and clinching. I personally preferred the Sylvie vid but I’d be lying if I said that I didn’t learn a lot from this and really enjoyed it

If you had to choose, focus on relaxing shoulders first, and just not having your forearms too floppy. I don't think it takes long at all if you put attention to it... maybe a week or so of focused effort to get into the habit

This really cool because I think like this about life I love Muay Thai and love jiu jitsu but these principles apply in life. In a real fight where you are there to defend yourself it’s better to have bad intentions and with working out in your gym it’s ok to practice great techniques and have full respect to help everyone get better but real life it’s a fight so to train the two spectrums is a great balance of two forces.
