WHY AREN'T THESE GUYS MAKING MILLIONS INSTEAD OF PROFESSIONAL ATHLETES?! OH YEAH..... GAMBLING.
I used to have to climb the mast on an aircraft carrier to replace bulbs and check electrical connections. I would say that was about the max I could do. Hats off to these guys. Kudos.
F*ck that sh*t wow. I hope they get paid VERY well for a job like this!
Kaç metre bu kule..?
You want me to do what now?
That was fun!
I assume they had taper pins to locate the bolt holes otherwise it would be a nightmare of fiddly to get those bolts started.
I have been born to early, gosh what would it be great to work at your company😊
Otro satélite en órbita!!! I 0 l
Fuck that.
UN-f'in-believable flying skill! I'm a 5,500 hour fixed wing ATPL and I still am amazed at the skill of helo pilots!
This is just insane , BIG BIG blue finger
I did a BASE J from this
Quanti metri di altezza?
Till my mid thirties, I had no problems working in heights.. but from then on, it totally changed, and I have no idea why..
Only strong men could do this job no females allowed !
ok all you equal pay ladies get your applications in, just remember this is a nice day at work for them, im sure they have many not nice days
When I was a senior in high school (1975) the football coaches gave me an 8mm movie camera and told me to climb the light tower at our HS stadium to film games. I did because I was “bulletproof!” No safety equipment or anything. Imagine if they even joked about asking a kid to do that today….career shot, criminal charges and jail time for sure.
Nope!
Awesome, video, but the audio is epic, thank you for your work😲😲😲
And whoever was up there why wouldn't they just twist the pole around to where the pegs were facing inward not outward
And for two why wouldn't you point the freaking steps that you go up towards the inside of the antenna instead of walking on the outside of it it seemed like it just meant to be so extreme definitely the dumbest design I've ever seen
One question why the hell would you make a slippery ass fiberglass stick to climb up knowing that thing doesn't have much to hold on to I know there's going to be a better design out there than this this is way too sketchy
What were you swearing about when at the top? Seemed like there was a problem. I hope you remembered the new bulb, haha
35 years in the Merchant Navy and I learned that with vertically bolted flanges, the bolts go down - head uppermost, nut on the bottom - always. The reason? - water flows downwards - if the nut is on the bottom, the threads stay dry - if the nut is on the top, water will work its way into the threads and rot them -and your nut and bolt becomes useless.
My palms are soaked as i sit here watching this from the comfort of my bedroom!

I’m sorry but these guys are fricken incredible to me!! Wow!!!! This is really impressive 😊
Balls of steel them fellas must have 😮
Put me on top of a 30 foot house and I'm in a panic. This just shows how different people are.
Slowest rocket to space.
What is you need to make a pitstop while up there
Watching tower climb videos I always wonder about the poor placement of the handles. Not sure of the correct term. Watching tower build videos it seems they just plonk the parts down and bolt as fast as possible. Does this explain why the rungs/handles are in odd places? On this one for example you’d approach that antenna from the inside but the rungs are outside.
It'd be a pisser to run out of charge on your Milwaukee impact up there.
Hell naw to the naw naw naw
Not to brag, but an old lady ask me to grab something off the top shelf for her in the grocery store once..
I hate heights that’s why I’m not a tall person.
Remember That Hideous Movie " Fall "
Real scary be up there my hat's off today people up on that Tower and how do you hold it so still that that helicopter my God that's something else too
These fellas have nerves of steel watching the ground crane getting smaller as they went higher I was getting chest shivers my God that was high well done to these guys.
I nearly boobooed in my pajamas watching this.
What happens if the workers at the top forgot to pack the nuts and bolts? ;)
Requesting stereo cameras for VR to be used here :) Because my acrophobia won't be satiated until I am in complete panic!
Thats 1,000 feet of "NOPE" right there. Thats how tall this tower is. It belongs to WKBD in Detroit. 😊
Oh ya, let's just hang off the side of this thing way way up there like it's nothing just another day on the job ..lol Yep, there is no way I would be hanging off of that tower cheers
Trust in your safety equipment 😮
Someone buy the pilot a beer
We live today in a connected world and it wouldn't be there if it weren't for us. Salute to us. You might be the only one in your harness but it took a lot of people to get you there. The communication industry is filled with some of the finest and smartest people on earth. At least until they leave the field and put on a suit and tie.
It's interesting that once you're over about 40 feet it really doesn't matter - one is just as deadly as the other... but tell that to your brain...
Easy. I could do this after 5 pints
Haha ...I could do this after first 5 feet up 😂
