Iron Maiden Wrathchild(ren) Bruce Blaze Paul Trio
Another fun Iron Maiden "what if" mashup of vocals. This time I went for all three, Paul, Bruce and Blaze together. Paul and Bruce each recorded studio versions of "Wrathchild" and Blaze performed it in concert and live on MTV. This is Bruce and Paul's studio vocals combined with the MTV performance. If you enjoyed my mashup of Blood Brothers and/or Afraid to Shoot Strangers, you should enjoy t...
Iron Maiden- Afraid to Shoot Strangers - Bruce & Blaze Mix: "Partners in Crime"
Much respect for both Bruce Dickinson and Blaze Bayley. Well, respect for everyone in Iron Maiden. Here's another "What if Bruce and Blaze took the stage together?" Sounds best in stereo :) I put together Afraid to Shoot Strangers Live from Gothenburg(?) 1995 w/ Blaze Bayley and Bruce's vocals from the studio version. I thought it came out great and wanted to share so fellow fans could enjoy. U...
Iron Maiden- Blood Brothers, Bruce Dickinson & Blaze Bayley "Duet"
I made this for my own listening pleasure a couple of weeks ago and have not stopped listening to it. I figured why not share it. This is made with respect and admiration for both singers, Bruce and Blaze, and every other musician that has a branch on the Iron Maiden family tree. The audio is a combination of the original Blood Brothers song on Brave New World, and Blaze’s voice from an amazing...

A think? That problem? Ah 35 years...
Both are great singers but bruce is my hero🙂
Goose bumps...
I have been a fan since 1981 and in 1982 when I heard Bruce I was caught in the sea of Maideness. I like Blaze but in my opinion he will never be as good as Bruce. When I go to a Maiden show the singer must interact with the crowd. That part is Bruce lightyears better on then Blaze. But X-factor is still one of my top three Maiden albums. My first live show with Maiden was someshere on tour 86 and seen them ever since. 🤘🏻😈🤘🏻
Blaze is great. His solo career is awesome. Underrated singer
Indeed
Sounds really good. Virgil puts his own spin on the drum parts which is nice to hear. I like this lineup a lot. Hope they make a new album.
John Mitchel
John is one of my favorite musicians
@@17primemover yes i saw Arena last week but without John because he had the Asia tour. He is such a great musican
The mix is a hot mess. Literally: bass is overpowering and everything else so quiet. And Harry, no need to yell. Just sing.
@@awesomeconcerts8922 They sounded great live. It’s probably more likely that it’s recorded on an iPhone from the second row.
I was at the show tonight in Milwaukee. The mix was awful. Whoever is running that board for them on this tour is incompetent. The bass and bass drum literally drowned out all the keyboard and guitar work by Asia and the opening acts. Appreciate what Geoff has put together, but if they go out on a second leg, they’ve got to fix this.
Love Asia, whoever's in the band.... but boy, does that bass sound awful.
Bassist.... play bass, not guitar!
Good musicians, so so band.
Джеффри - занимайся ASUA , THE BUGGLES ..
The great bands are gone. All we can have now are "tribute bands"
I was fortunate enough to see the original Asia at the Brendan Byrne Arena in New Jersey back in 1982. They were truly amazing.
Looks like a junior high school talent show band that didn't make the top five! Nothing beats the original Asia. Even without Wetton, they still sounded good. But without Wetton, Howe, and Palmer, Downes can't carry everything on his own! 🤔
🤣🤡 Yes a muffled cell phone video really depicts what the real sound was like.
John Wetton was the voice and the Heart and Soul of Asia. This is a cover Band.
I Feel The Music Is Great !
It is The New Line Up Of ASIA !
Understand if you want the music kept alive, this and cover bands are the future.
I don't know about the band but the singer + bass player is fabulous!
@@elprofe360 They all sounded great, played with a lot of energy for the music and respected their respective predecessors.
And that drummer is arguably the best in the world. Virgil Donati. ruclips.net/video/JveYe-HEc44/видео.htmlsi=dL6rlCdycZ6ahorq
@@arjkayt He is really good, thanks for the info
Sometimes, you need to let it go. You can't have Yes without Chris Squire and Jon Anderson. You can't have Asia without John Wetton, Carl Palmer and Steve Howe. If Geoff wants to tour as Geoff Downes performing the music of Asia, so be it.
Agreed! With 3/4s of the band not there and Wetton (and even Greg Lake...the only appropriate substitute for John) gone from this earth, it's a pale comparison, sadly. Missing the magic of Wetton's voice and playing. I love Downes (Buggles, Yes, Asia, etc) but perhaps calling it a tribute to Wetton or Asia itself - "Asia Celebration"??? - might have been more appropriate, imo. Similar to Palmer's ELP Legacy Band...who are NOT ELP but do an amazing job!
Brian, no need to be rude. John's widow Lisa and his son have approved of this. Regarding Yes: Chris Squire left Steve with the name. Jon Anderson left Yes many times
@JIF882 Hey, I stated my opinion. Never intended to be rude. Steve and Geoff can do whatever they want. But for me the legacy of the bands are being tarnished.
Thank you for posting these! I was there that night and they sounded amazing!! Great memories!
Is this an Asia cover band ?
Geoffrey Downes is the only original member currently. Steve Howe and Carl Palmer are not touring with this Asia. RIP John Wetton.
Pretty much.
I really have a problem with these bands. The general public largely doesn't appreciate whether or not the people they are watching are the ones that made the record or not. To me, no matter how good they are it's not seeing the group when only one member is there and he arguably was not the focal point. The singer is different and the drummer who may have been the most recognizable star is different. For me=different band. The people who buy those tickets are expecting to see the group that made the records.
@@pilesovinyl 100%. This band (not this band per se lol) was a gateway to an incredible journey for discovering several epic bands, so they'll always have a special place in my heart. But this isn't them. I had a similar experience when I went to a Journey concert back in the late 80's. It was a facade.
@@pilesovinyl While I generally agree on your sentiment about bands missing most or all original members, I'd be surprised if anyone went to the show expecting to see the original four. I think they went to celebrate and enjoy the music of Asia. It would have been a much bigger show/bigger venues if they could have gotten the three of them together with the new singer, but there is still an audience. Geoff Downes did a nice job of speaking about his former band members at different points. Disappointed I never got to see the original four, but this is the best that could be done and it was done well. The band sounded great and people enjoyed it. Can't ask for more than that as our music stars grow old alongside of us.
Asia magic has gone
Blaze is the master
Blaze is having the last years the recognition he deserves
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it. I have more of them to share.
Not a Blaze fan boy in the least. But I really think he got the short end of the stick.
This is one of the few Bruce songs that Blaze was able to handle rather well and give a quite interesting version. Nice mix. Would be great to see a Helloween like mashup with Bruce and Blaze in reality before they are too old.
Kad su njih dvoje snimili taj duet? Ili je to smiksano?
This is a mix I made. Blaze did an acoustic version of this song with Thomas Zwijsen. The vocals are from that.
Man those photos of Bruce and Blaze are so cool.
So AWESOME!!! 👌👌👌❤🤟Listened to all the Bruce/Blaze ones and this one as well, many times now. Just gets better all the time! Thank you so much! I don't know if you take suggestions (or humble requests as it were) but could you maybe pretty please with a cherry on top do The clansman sometime? It's such an amazing song and it would be even better with both Bruce and Blaze.
Thanks. I appreciate that. I have done several more since posting this one, The Clansman being one of them. LOTF, SOTC, The Evil That Men Do. I’ll get them up soon.
@@GlennDickstein 😃🤩😀 Yaaaay! That's amazing to hear. Thank you! I'm gonna listen to them on repeat for sure when you put them up. Can't waiiiit!!!! And with that you've just gained a new subscriber. Have the best day and week ever!
Layering two tracks on top of each other doesn't make it a duet.
Didn't try to pass it off as one. Note the quotation marks around "duet". Please consider reading the description as it clearly acknowledges what this, so as not to misrepresent anything. Simply a fan of both singers with a chance to do something creative.
Blaze can sing paul era songs really well
The tenor and the baritone.
Like it,a masterpiece 👍Is this Duett Song available? Cheer's from Dortmund🤘Up the Irons ♠️💛♠️
Thanks. Just something I made on my own.
Sad but true, Blaze was the reason for Maiden to lose lots of fans in the 1990s and The X Factor and Virtual XI became underrated.
The x factor and virtual xi is good albums and underrated era bailey
Blaze is a more as Heavy Metal singer while Bruce goes more on Power Metal and Symphonic...I agree that his 2 albums, especially Virtual XL were good and somg from there only suits for Blaze's voice...
The biggest problem of Blaze were the live presentations, as frontman he could not to reach the Bruce Dickinson's greatness.
Me encanta este duo
Thank you. I have a couple of others posted and more to come.
When did Bayley sing Blood brothers?
He sang an acoustic version with Thomas Zwijsen
Afs
Not
I saw iron maiden live just one time with blaze back in 1995, he and gers were all over the stage, i saw paul di'anno live a few times with different bands, he was always at his best, i saw bruce dickinson live with his solo band, he was also great, and i saw blaze live with his solo band in 2014, all these three vocalists are great vocalists, they did a great job as a part of iron maiden and also in their other solo albums or projects, thanks for sharing.

Already working on it. And I have a couple others already done. Blood Brothers is posted, too. Did you hear that?
@@GlennDickstein Glad to hear that! As well as listening to "your" songs! Blood brothers is one of my (many) favourites from Iron Maiden and your duet version is top notch! Continue great work! Cheers!
@@GlennDickstein Im a huge Blaze fan, but hearing Bruce sing Lord of the flies back in 2003 was just mind blowing. Different and better. In my opinion. Such a good song. The Gothenburg bootleg "The eternal flame" from this "afraid" song has very good sound.
Thank you for doing this Glenn :)
I saw iron maiden with blaze on 4 September 1998. Very good gig. Lot's of memories 😃
