Congregation Beth Emek, the “House of the Valley,” is the center of Jewish life in the Tri-Valley, serving Pleasanton, Livermore, Dublin, San Ramon, Danville, Tracy, and beyond. We believe that Judaism is a source of renewal and a refuge in this fast-paced world. At Beth Emek, Jews meet to study and learn, to celebrate the cycle of the year, and to rejoice in the Sabbath. Affiliated with the Reform movement, we welcome Jews from every background. We are a diverse group, building an intimate and caring community - a place where Jews can reach out to each other and to God.

One point I feel needs to be addressed as far as casualties especially in regards to children: As of Thursday afternoon, Israel's military said Hamas' attack killed more than 1,200 people, including at least 27 Americans, and left some 2,800 people wounded. At least 1,537 people, including 447 children, have been killed in Gaza by Israel's retaliatory strikes, the Gaza Ministry of Health said, adding that more than 6,000 others were wounded. Both sides are now guilty of unimaginable damage to life.
The movie is a subjective view of Oppenheimer during those period. That's why the movie's title is Oppenheimer.
