    supp(A) = {x ∈ U | μA(x) > 0} 這是 support 的一般數學定義。它表示: A 的 support 是宇集合 U 中所有元素 x 的集合 其中這些 x 使得隸屬函數 μA(x) 的值大於 0 這是一個抽象的、通用的定義,適用於任何模糊集合。 supp(A) = (a, b) 這是一個具體的例子,特別適用於連續的模糊集合: (a, b) 表示一個開區間,從 a 到 b(不包括 a 和 b) 這意味著 A 的 support 是一個連續的區間 在這個區間內的所有 x 值,其隸屬度 μA(x) 都大於 0 兩者的關係: 第一個表達式是一般定義 第二個表達式是這個定義在特定情況下的一個結果 例如,如果我們有一個三角形模糊集合,其隸屬函數在 a 和 b 之間為正,在這個區間之外為 0,那麼它的 support 就可以表示為 (a, b)。
