Quick video on me working on the KLR. In this video I changed my front and rear sprockets and my chain as well. I went 1 tooth up in the front sprocket. So the front is a 16 tooth and rear is the stock 43 with 520 chain with 106 links.

No I had factory manifolds but it was all catless. It just had the Magnaflow xpipe muffler (11386) with Borla S-Type axle back.

I have a weird little noise sounds like maybe griding or something, in the gear shifter whwn putting it into 2 gear and third gear..... alos the subframe came out the body in the back on the ledt side and these cars are known for thay issue but i dont want to sale mine.. its a 2001 330ci 5 soeed manual coupe.... any help on at least sum type of diy to keep it from falling out more??

It was 40-60 psi reading on gauge. But the sensor went out again. Will have to replace with better one even tho it was OEM AC Delco.

8 grand.. for a crew cab, 06, full center console with leather. yeah u got a steal buddy lol. I actually bought mine with 130 too, 06 crew cab cloth, bucket console. I swapped to a full center console from a suburban and it came out great. I might do a seat swap

i put both bottles in with some left. The manual calls for about 1.7 liters. Sorry for the late reply brother hope this helps

How much oil pressure was it running
Well before I changed the o ring and the sensor, we had low oil pressure warning. But after change out the oring and fixing the guage it was 40-60 sometimes 70 psi

All the wax in the world isn't going to save a chain when it's already shot. Try 80-90w gear oil, I have found my chains last much longer using it than wax. On large road trips I will fill up one of those mini Coke bottles with 90w gear oil and every couple of gas stops I'll put a line of it on the exsposed section of chain.
I see. Yea I knew the chain was shot I just tried to keep it from snapping. Thankfully I made it back home. I replaced the chain right away. But I’ll keep that in mind. I’ll try out the gear oil for sure!

Have you felt a difference in drivability and shifting since changing the fluid?
Actually yes. Going into gears it is a bit smoother than before. Nothing crazy tho. And the shifter doesn’t stick to the right side as much before it’s warmed up

Thanks bro! Night and day difference. These are 10% stiffer than OEM but still rides very nice. Feels really planted absorbs bumps pretty good and steering is more direct too now no more body roll.

@@alectucker2372 i know I can. If you asking if you can, sure. These cars are open diff. So if it’s wet outside and your rear tires are bald you can drift like this pretty much. Also if you completely turn off traction control and stability control
