This American Toad was discovered on May 1, 2010 after a garden space was rototilled for planting, it was safely caught and kept in a bucket until the work on the garden was done and then he was released back into the garden so he could find another safe haven. In Central Michigan while walking in the woods, I found this large fallen tree. You can see it's roots and the crater where the tree stood. Sorry about the shaky cam but I was walking up a steep section with lots of tree roots to look out for. Massive Deer Exodus

While in Central Michigan at dusk I counted over 33 deer moving through a field. I only lost count after I hit 33 because of it getting too dark. I took a quick shot of the deer moving. Yiu do luck to have baby goat
OMG! So now, I want a pygmy goat kid. I think, when I retire, I am going to move out to the middle of nowhere ... feed birds, deer, raccoons, squirrels. I'm going to have a little goat, maybe some ducks, hopefully a beaver or two. I am going to bake cookies and enjoy watching / feeding / interacting with all.

Cute video. I visited a zoo in Florida and after buying admission visitors were given a large piece of paper with the zoo's walking map. Among many excellent exhibits and paths, there was a petting section where a number of animals roam freely among people. While I was looking at an animal in front of me, a goat took the paper from my rear pocket and devoured it and did so eagerly and seemed to enjoy it. I have wondered about goats' diets since then.
