slow and peaceful weekend in my life as a 23 year old vlog: at home for thanksgiving
After hours and hours of cooking and not having a voice my family and I were pretty much home bodies for the weekend after thanksgiving. The temperatures were frigid and the energy low so there was lots of lounging, watching lots of the rings, and enjoying leftovers.. especially the pies. We did however, find some motivation to go out and shop in our favorite outdoor gear store, lol. After being exposed to such suddenly cold temperatures I felt it was time to start my winter skincare routine with added layers of moisture. After several weeks of trying I was finally able to get to magnolia bakery, skip the line, and order a small apple crisp pudding. Unfortunately the apples weren’t cooked enough. It must seem ridiculous for me to say that I prefer weekends in New York to be cold and cloudy. I live in the Chicago suburbs, a neighborhood where all the houses look the same, and my days look like going on walks and to the grocery store when I’m not at work.
