I'm just as acne-prone as you are, but I still can't figure out why it only affect text on 16:20. Because black is 0?
First, go for isotretinoin my friend! It works wonders! Second, yeah essentially images are arrays of pixels with 255ish shades of grey separated into 3 channels representing red,blue or green. Thus, black is 0 on all of these channels while 1 is white. I believe I give an overview of this in other videos, but the gist is there!
were do i get the Rainbow material ??
the rainbow material is simply just any image of a 1024 x 1024 rainbow hue u get from google images imported into substance painter with tri-planar projection

Very nice video! But of the folliage tuts I find involve taking a real photo of a real plant. It's nice to see how folliage can be made completely manually without going outside haha.

Good technique but not really doable in several minutes. It would take more like 2 hours i guess from start to finish.
That was done in 1 hour. The idea was more of a 5 min tutorial than a 5 min prop

did you forget to include the texture that is being used at 17:00?
Oh! Sorry! As I mentioned those textures were not created by us (So we can't share them) but they're available for free on Epic Games Marketplace. Just search for "Paragon Assets" and you'll find them!
would you able to apply this to niagara to spawn screen space particle effects?
Yup! Niagara spawns quads (usually) which can have this effect like anything else. You could even drive things using particle parameters such as the pivot point or some other parameter of the screenspace fx.
After struggling way too much I managed to recreate it exactly as it is in ShaderGraph! SG is missing the ParallaxOffset node, and while I tried to use the ParallaxMapping node as a workaround, it does not produce the same results. That is why after some work I managed to recreate the ParallaxOffset node itself in ShaderGraph! Great tutorial though, this effect is amazing. I tried using stencils before and its a pain to work with. This is way easier!

oh wow, nice dude. Quite literally have seen very little on this. Anything regarding particles and vfx emitting (not the actual system moving) along something like a spline is super sought after. The depths of the forums yield little and unity developers are like please add this feature lol. @@PilotoStudio

Multiplying by two does in fact push the value into the hdr range (because as you said 1 multiplied by 1 stays 1 but since you added a hard *2 the brightest possible value is now 2 for a color that might be okay but alpha should really be in a zero to one range. So I would rather saturate the entire thing or solve the *2 differently. Plus the noises could benefit from some uv distortion to introduce more than a single direction movement :)
Indeed! The noise multiplication trick is usually a cheeky function I use, so I just lost the plot a little since my function has all these things built into them haha. Thanks for the comment!

Hey! We make a bunch of vfx we sell on the unity asset store, so I have a bunch of textures and materials of all sorts that we use to author the assets. You can get them on our asset store page as you purchase different vfx packs. I usually use houdini, substance designer, embergen and photoshop on my workflow. Many of the realistic ones are done with rendering programs but I also make a fair share of textures using a good old drawing tablet!
