Interesting Video.! Mam pytanie dotyczące instrukcji dla trybu solo (Automy). Otóż nie znalazłem żadnego zapisu dotyczącego sposobu działania Atomy w przypadku osiągnięcia poziomu 5 w sekcjach badań Terraformacja i Nawigacja i zdobycia odpowiednio żetonu przymierza lub Czarnej planety. Czy te elementy są usuwane z gry czy też Czarna planeta jest wstawiana na planszę przez Automę, a jeśli tak to w jakim zasięgu? Mam nadzieję że Google translator dobrze przetłumaczy. Holy cow. Range booster in the bottom tier??? It’s probably the best booster for Gleens.
Betrayal on the house on the hill, its a very cool game where the house is revealed the further you travel and after a certain amount of time something will happen leading to somebody turning evil and monsters attempting to kill you and you must find specific items to defeat the monster, i loved this game and would easily recommend it.

Really good questions! So it goes without saying but of course each game has situational nuances to take into consideration, and Xenos don’t tend to typically play a high knowledge game quite like other factions do but it’s not impossible. In answer to your questions: 1. Knowledge early game is typically always better, and that’s because QIC is going to be largely used as a backup resource (converting to range/ore), or for QIC Actions (which revolve around scoring Fed Tokens / Planet types), which are all typical of late game actions. 2. Since the QIC by Xenos will most likely be used for dominating the QIC Actions (which are mostly used for extra points) you’ll probably consider that track round 4 the earliest. It is almost always a good idea to get to space 5 of Knowledge and Income as priorities.
first of all: i enjoy your videos. I really like the idea of the ivits but couldn't reall make them work yet. But all the pro Players and matches I saw claim: Ivits (generally) are the best faction second: id be interested in a recommendation for the order of placing buildings (not just for this but also the other factions - maybe you can pin a coment and/or integrate it future videos) Especially in the beginning (go for lab or PI) When I play Gaia I usually do a Playstyle where I expand a lot in the beginning and start with lab and as many mines as i can afford. But with factions like the Ivits or Firkas thats usually not the right play style. Of course its Map department, but (for the Ivits) would you go for a quick lab and Ac - if yes can you pull that off consistently (because you are somewhat dependent on power actions)? I guess since the first round has almost the same recourses an general order could be useful Thank you!
Some really great comments there, and so glad to hear that you enjoy the videos! Ivits are a lot of fun when you get the hang of them and so definitely good to practice getting used to them. I’ve noticed a few people wonder about order of placement of buildings, and whilst it’s not an unanswerable question, there is a caveat; that being that building order is largely dependent on round scoring tiles and map situation. That being said there are a few good principles to play with: 1. Use the round scorers as a guide for which buildings to put down each round and plan ahead! You’ll be surprised how much they add to your score if you play them well. If you want those 170+ scores you can’t miss that. 2. Don’t underestimate knowledge and income. One of the best players I’ve ever seen gets to the top of Knowledge and Income by the end of every single game, it pays off. 3. Always know where you’re getting income from. If you want to go heavy on RL early game that’s ok… so long as you ask yourself: “where am I getting Credit from next round?”. Power Actions? Round Boosters? Tech Tree? If you don’t have a backup plan, don’t do it. If your economy stops, so does your game. Ivits Specific - get a big economy, you are literally going to attempt to buy every building.. that costs a lot. If you invest in RL’s early game then you need to pick economy/knowledge based tiles. (The dream is a double; +credit under Economy/Knowledge tracks) As you get past round 3 you’ll want to look at getting your AC out. Remember a key with Ivits is choosing Fed Tokens that will continue to boost your Economy. For scoring with Ivits a good goal is to use the QIC AC to get extra QIC. Use the middle QIC Action to rescore a Fed Token. Then Rescore the 8pt 1 QIC token so it only costs you 2 QIC.. one of which came from the AC and the other from income.. so basically you didn’t need to put in much for that 8pts. Try to do that 3 times in the game and you’re looking 24pts from very little effort. Hope some of that helps, Any other questions drop a comment, we love replying to them 👌 Boardgamer

I haven't played this game in a long time, so I have no idea whether going terraforming track is good or not, but your reasoning regarding the federation token at the top seems incorrect to me. As far as I can tell, Xenos do not have any synergy with federation tiles. They are just able to get them more easily. Being able to get them more easily through forming federations does not make getting the one on top of the terraform track better than it would otherwise be.
4:53 Hiya, thanks for your comment, I very much understand what you mean. You’re quite right that they don’t have the synergy like some of the other factions in this way. However what was encouraged in the video is that due to them being a forgiving flexible strategy faction that generally have their strategy always leaning towards gathering Fed tokens it would be a good idea to collect that one too. After all, if you’re planning to make Federations you’ll likely need to advance on the terraforming track and terraform as Xenos, whilst also be looking for other bonuses that relate to Fed Tokens (like the Advanced Tech Tile for points for Fed Tokens when you pass). Hope that makes some sense why it was generally encouraged as an idea when playing as Xenos
