Light years ahead of anyone else who attempted this great song. Each note rendered perfectly - immaculate

The first time I heard this song was at one local AM radio back in 1973. It was a rare situation, the disc jockey never changed the LP and when 'Walk on Water' finished 'Theme' started and I thought it was part of the other song. Both songs made a beautiful combination, being the end of 'Walk' sort of a pause and the beginning of 'Theme' the logical continuation. I had the luck to be recording this marvelous songs in one cassette and keeping it with me for a lot of years until somebody told me about my mistake. Thanks to the DJ, surely one lovingt fan of Neil, time after that I could download both songs and with the help of the Sound Forge Music Factory turned them into one 4'45'' song that is part of my life's soundtrack and goes always with me everywhere.

I loved Neil Diamond for so long but i lost respect when we were working a food station where he was playing. We were volunteers raising money for the high school band. One of the things they let us do was watch the sound checks. It was great to see the stars sort of a behind the scenes type of thing. But him, we couldn't. They came around and closes the curtains and told us to stay out. Only paying customers were allowed to watch. That was in the 90's still annoying to this day.
