Next is Type the "UNITS"/ "UN" using command Setting to change into Surveyors Unit to have a direction and degrees to you units. next you are going to put or type the "PL" or "POLYLINE" and enter the specific area or dimensions from point 1 ro 2 and that is 27.99 < s 49 D 35'E after that press enter and continue to enter the measurement of area/ direction from point 3 to 4, again type the given measurement and is the 5.95<S86D 15' W then press the enter. And continue to finish the whole area. After Ploting the whole given measure of Area put Dimension of each side to check if its correct. After that put the Exact location or Address or the area of the Lot in side the Are Next is use Hatch and different types of line. Type Line type and chose the Phantom Line and use the .5 for line weight.

OCAMPO, ALLYSA BTVTED 3D DT Before setting up the AutoCad application, first you must know the given area, or the land that you need to plot. Prepare the given measurements and degrees to plot. After knowing the given measurements you need to follow the steps below; Step 1: start to open your AutoCad application. Step 2: type UNITS and enter, click to change the type to surveyor's unit. (note: surveyor's unit is tend to show direction with degrees. It is typically used for lot plotting purposes.) Step 3: (know the degrees, angles and measurements.) first, type the command PL for polyline, then now type the given measurement, next is the angle with its degree and value. (Note: apply this method for the rest of the needed plotting) use Phantom line(.5) as a line type. Step 4: let your line move itself, it will accord based on the measurements. As a result, it will form in accordance to the given land measurements. As you can see, not all of the land area/title will meet exactly in the end. It may have a gap or extensions, it is normal to be happen. Step 5: after getting the final form, put a notes in every points, it will serve as the definition in each lines. Use the command ALIGN for each notes to have it in the line. (note: you can scale letters and numbers that is more suitable with the measurement of the line.) Step 6: after having the notes in each sides, note the full and exact address inside or in the center of the land title. Step 7: finally, hatch the area to serve as a final result for lot plotting. This lot plotting is used for Site Development Plan

Daniella Mae F. Macasero BTVTED III-D Before starting on lot plotting area using AutoCAD, it is recommended to first put noted by first typing "UNIT" and change type to "SURVEYORS UNIT", this will then enable us to see degrees and direction. Use the polyline tool then select any starting point. Type the given measurement and angle which is 27.99m, S49 D35'E then enter. Do not click the mouse and just continue the same procedure from other measurements 6.95m, S45D36'W then enter;95m, S86D15'W then enter; 24.01m, N51D44'W then enter; 21.99m, N45DO7'E then close. After the input of the given measurement, it will show the shape of the lot area. Put small circles in all points of the lot area then set the dimension and measurement of each point. Address should be also shown in the lot area then hatch. Change the line type of lot line into phantom line with a line weight of .5 mm. The final output of lot plotting should have complete details wherein includes dimensions and location.

JOEL TAN, JR. - BTVTED 3D The first thing to do when land plotting in AutoCad is to change the units to Surveyor's Units, that would enable the system to gather all the details needed; the distance, degrees, direction and minutes. Base your measurements on what is given and input them in order; from point 1 to point 2, point 2 to point 3 and so on until it goes back to the first point. For inputting the details given, just input first the distance and click tab to input the angle of the line and click 'Enter'. Do this process in proper order until the given details returns you to its first point of origin. Do not forget to label the points and show the details that you've inputted

Click command "UNITS" to "SURVEYORS UNITS" after clicking that command the format of your drawing will change. as you can see the directions are changed even the sample output, angles and measurements. next is click the command "PL" for polyline click the first point and then enter the specific dimension which is 27.99 M S49D 35’E, as you can see it draws an object and you don't need to redraw or click command again to draw another line. as you continue your lot plotting just enter again the dimensions to complete the whole object. Always check your line weights and change it if necessary, put the label under your drawing and check if it is aligned.

Before we proceed to the auto cad, it’s better to notes the technical description in the land title to make it easier to plot. Then in auto cad first change the units into surveyor’s unit and check the format of typing, next type PL or polyline, enter then select any points then type the measurement or the point 1 to 2, ex 27.99Meters<South 49 Degrees,35minutes East (27.99<49,35). No need to click the mouse just continues to plot all the technical descriptions or the measurements. Look to the end point most of the time that line didn’t intersect or meet and some are beyond too, because not all land title are perfect, just close it by extending the line. And change the line into phantom and 0.5 lines weight. Each corner or point put bubble and label. And use line and align command to make a label of each point be presentable in positioning the lot bearing. And inside the lot plan put the complete address of that lot and hatch, some architect doesn’t need to hatch but for AR1 it’s needed. Thank you

SANCHEZ, JANNELA B. BTVTEd 3D DT Lot Plotting 1. Open AutoCad 2. Type Units then enter 3. In the Drawing Units dialog box, go to the upper right part look for Angle 4. Under the Angle, you will see Type and under it is an option 5. Click the option Surveyor's Units 6. You need to notice the changes in the Sample Output. You need to to notice that there will now be a direction and degrees. 7. Check your land title and your needed informations like the measurements, angles, values and its directions 8. Type PL then enter to use Polyline 9. Select at any point then type the measurement what angle, value and direction it is (ex. For Point 1-2 -> type 27.99 <S49D35'E then enter) 10. Then continue typing and entering the other given data from points, 2-3, 3-4, 4-5, 5-1 11. After completing all the given data, close the command 12. The lot area will now be visible 13. Click circle or type in C to create a circle then put it to all the end points of the lot area 14. Indicate complete labels including the address and make sure that it is properly aligned 15. Then hatch 16. Also, the line type of the lot area should be Phantom 2 (color blue) with a Line weight of 0.50mm 17. Finalize and double check your output then save.

Before you start the lot plotting change the Decimal degrees into Surveyor units. It will instantly indicate the direction and degrees. Step 2. Type PL (Polyline) then click some point. After that type the measurement 27.99 angle South 49 degrees 35 minutes East (S49D35'E) then Enter. Step 3. No need to click another point just continue typing 16.95 angle South 45 degrees 36 minutes West (S45D36'W) then Enter. Step 4. Next 5.95 angle South 86 degrees 15 minutes West (S86D15'W) then Enter. Step 5. Then next 24.01 angle North 51 degrees 44 minutes West (N5D44'W) then Enter. Step 6.Then Last 21.99 angle North 45 degrees 7 minutes East (N45D7'E) and Enter then close. Note: There is no perfect lot title there's a tendency that the line/measurements indicate on the title is broken or exceeded when you already plot it, so just close it. Then always rotate the lot area together with the direction North, East, West then South to know where's the sunset. After that don't forget to indicate the complete details; points, numbers, dimension and the location of the lot area.

John Michael h.

before starting type unit first and change the type, change to surveyors unit, and check if there is a change in your format, you will noticed that when changing, there is a change in the sample outputs, the first to be placed are the measurements then the angle then the Direction and how many degrees and time then direction again. Now the command to be used is polyline or shorcut key is PL then enter and then just click on any point, then type the measurements, 27.99 M S49D 35’E tapos click enter makikita na nag form siya ng line which made up dun sa tinype mo kanina pagtapos non hindi na kailangan iclick ung mouse to create another line i-type lang ulit yung kasunod na measurements ganon lang ulit gagayahin mo lang hanggang sa mabuo na yung shape or lot area nung measurement na sinusundan mo.

Before we start plotting we must change the decimal degree into surveyor's Units na makikita sa command "UN". After mo makuha ung mga information next is iaapply sa CAD. Magsstart sa point 1-2 command "PL" which means polyline then type the size angle, Location,Degree,Min and Location for example (104.26m, N21D 14'E). After makuha ung plot, in every corners lagyan ng circle and number to identify the points then, icopy ung exact text location para madaling ma identify ung locations. Last part irorotate mo ung plot kung saan ung plot mo saktong nakatapat then Lalagyan ng Line weights para madaling ma identified and mas presentable.

Before mag start sa Plotting Type "UNITS" then change the Angle Type "Surveyors units" then click Ok. After mapalitan sa Units use the command PL type PL (polyline) for continues line for plotting. After mai-type ang PL read the Measurements Point 1 to 2 then type @27.99 <S49D35'E then Enter. Next measurement Point 2 to 3 type @16.95 <S45D36'W then Enter. Next measurement Point 3 to 4 type @5.95 <S86D15'W then Enter. Next measurement Point 4 to 5 type @24.01<N51D44'W then Enter. Last measurement 5 to 1 type @21.99 <N45D07'E then Enter and close. After mabuo ang lot area type C for circle and ilagay sa bawat point. Lagyan ng number 1 (Point 1) to 5 (Point 5). After ma-Final output make sure complete details may dimension and location. And change the layers. Color: Blue Line type: Phantom 2 Line weight: 0.50mm

The steps to do in lot plotting is to set the unit into surveyors unit first. As you change it into surveyors unit it will add additional options like direction and degree. This is how to read the coordinates Point 1 to 2, 27.99 meters, South 49 degrees, 35 mins. East. Use the Polyline command then plot the first segment anywhere in the drawing area then insert the measurements, 27.99 meters, South 49 degrees 35 mins. East then enter to finish the command. Point 2 to 3, 16.95 meters, South 45 degrees 36 mins. West then finish the command by clicking enter. Point 3 to 4, 5.95 meters, South 86 degrees 15 mins. West then finish the command. Point 4 to 5, 24.01 meters, North 51 degrees 44 mins. West click enter. Point 5 to 1, 21.99 meters, North 45 degrees 7 mins. East then close the polyline, if end points do not touch please manually close it. Change the created polyline into phantom layer to represent the perimeter or the lot area. It is important to plot also the cardinal directions in planning because it is necessary to consider also where is the sun rises and sets. Then apply the fundamentals in planning a building (floor plan) like setbacks, the initial plan itself and so on. Insert circles where lines touches to represent the points, example point1, point 2 and so on. Insert also the necessary labels like measurements parallel or align to the lines and the address at the middle and lastly hatch it.

First, Analyze the measurement then change the Unit to surveryors units then the Direction will be change, by reading the Measurement. point 1 to 2, 27.99 meters, South 49degrees and 35 minutes east. Then Use the command PL or polyline for continues line plotting and there is a possibility that the Lot area given will not totally Connected but you need to adjust it then Dimension it. 27.99 M S49degree and 35minutes east. and so on but of the dimension or text is Larger than the line just adjust it until the word is readable then align it. Next is Change the layer of the lot area To .50 and hatch it, And do not forget to put the Lot area word in the middle or lot area. And don't forget that the lot title is not always perfect we need to adjust.

Oval Head Capscrew (Schematic Rep.) GIVEN: D = 10mm, L = 40 Full thread, 1.5 x 45° Chamfer Step 1. First is determine the measurement of the head capscrew which is 1/2 of diameter or 5mm this is from the whole given measurement of the diameter which is 10 mm. Step 2. Make a 2 horizontal line and between of it make a 5mm distance. After the width of head let us proceed to the body of the screw with the full length of 40mm and width of 10mm. Remember that the length of the full screw is from the top of head down to the end of screw. Step 3. With the use of protractor make an 40° angle and draw a slant line at the both side of head capscrew and at the top of it make a curve line with a use of compass. After making the whole head of capscrew get the 1/4 width and 1/2 length of the diameter of head then use this measurement to make a depth on the top of it. Step 4. To also get the measurement of thread length just use the formula 2 x Diameter + 6 or 2 x 10 + 6 which is equal to 26mm. After getting this make a schematic representation out of it with a 1.5 pitch and 60° depth. Don't also forget to indicate the chamfer with the given measurement 1.5 x 45° angle. Step 5. At last make the object line Darker or more visible and thick.
