This is amazing 😂
I get an urge to listen this every few months, and the quality you put into this always brings me back! Absolutely phenomenal work from everyone involved, you should all be proud!
Can you share the details of the lens and the focal length at which this was shot?
I'm not sure I remember the specific focal length, but this was captured on Clavius lenses. They're modified Helios 44-2 series glass placed in a very robust housing, with optics to change their focal length from the native 58mm either longer or shorter. I believe at the time the set included a 28, 38, 58, and 88mm, all at a t2.8 (maybe slower on the 28). This was prior to Horizon Cine Glass officially existing, but the lenses would be available for rental through them, or if you wanted more information i'm sure they'd be happy to enlighten you. www.cine.glass/
Poor girl playing the "unattractive niece". LOL.
this camera can shoot with the filmer at 2 or 3 or 4 perforations or just a single perforation I want to know how many minutes I will have filming at 24 frames per second using a 400 foot film. could you tell me?
I'm not aware of any cameras that can shoot single perf 35mm. To my knowledge there aren't any cameras that are user serviceable between 3 and 4 perforation, with maybe the exception of the Aaton Penelope but I have never done this with the penelope so I cannot verify that it's possible. I've only ever been on set with a 2perf camera once, and it was a Panavision Platinum. I'm sure more techniscope cameras are out there but they're pretty uncommon. Running times for 4 perforation 35mm are something like 4.22 minutes for 120 metres/400ft and something like 10ish minutes for 300m/1000ft.
How did you expose this? I'm looking to shoot something of similar atmosphere on 16mm 200T. Where did you meter from, the side? A stop over? Thanks in advanced
Essentially just set your light meter to the sensitivity you're aiming for rather than the film stock. Important that you make it clear to your lab that your intention is to push the film during dev.
If you're aiming for something cleaner with 16mm I'd advise shooting on a less sensitive stock as well. Experiment with shooting 50D and pushing to 100. Do a camera test - the 100ft daylight spools can be loaded into an SR magazine (or at least they can be loaded into my SR1 mags, i'm not sure if that's universal) if you're looking for a more affordable way to do some tests with different stocks and push/pull ratios.
@@AdrianProleiko Thank you for the advice. Will come back here one day when the shoot is done and let you know how it goes 🤙
This is my all time favorite music video now, very cool!

I wish I knew what I just saw 👍
This is fantastically done. I don't know why it doesn't have many times as many views and likes as it does. The cop sifting his hands through the sand in shock was a beautiful final touch.
Great song, great video. 👍 Thanks!
I loved this so much I wonder why it didn't get the recognition it deserves. 🥺

Beautiful
Bruh they got a whole mf crew for 12 seconds of footage. Plus the development fees I estimate this cost around $3k-$5k USD. This is the nature of our industry, after all. Beautiful images come at a cost.
If you're gonna do it, might as well do it right I figure. It's also lit with a skypanel s360, a couple 1200w pars, and some astra 6xs with DMX modules for the lightning flashes, along with a couple foggers and a rain tower to complete the look. No such thing as overkill.
What was the budget?
@@AdrianProleiko What was the budget?
