Why not applying the peel off base coat directly on top of the builder gel? Once it’s a type of base coat, I don’t see a point in applying regular gel base and top coat on top of the builder and then the peel off. But I could be wrong
@@debpoli85 because peel base must be applied to a shiny slick surface! It cannot be applied to a tacky or dry/porous surface or the peel base will not work :) i always finish with gel base and top and the peel base works best on that!

I would just file the dip down to the builder gel with an efile or hand file!

Is the primer the same thing as a bond??
Can you use a basic rubbing alcohol with a lint free wipe for the “primer” or is it the same thing as “bond” that comes with the dip liquids
No and no. Primer is a type of liquid that leaves a sticky layer and is only meant to be used with gel liquids like builder gel to help it adhere during curing! Bond is only meant to be used with dip liquids and that one will dry out the nail bed and remove excess oils. Bond should not be used with gels. For gels i would recommend Dehydrator to remove excess oils!
No and no, primer is specific for gel products. Bond is only meant for dip liquids.
Do cure for the peel base is that correct?
Peel base is air dry 2-4 mins!

My natural nails are naturally brittle and not strong. Builder gel keeps them strong in between manicures :)

Do you fill the gelly tips the same way? Would love a video for that process!
Actually filling belly tips is much more simple! Still file off the shiny top layer, remove and lifting areas if there are any, reshape the tips if needed and then do a gel base up to the cuticle covering the entire nail, fully cure and then do a gel top coat up to the cuticle covering the entire nail and fully cure that and you're done! The Gelly tips are clear and super thin at the cuticle so just gel base & top is all you need! :)
What lamp do you use to cure the gel builder?
For Builder Gel you will need a UV/LED lamp that is at least 48 watts, however I prefer to have it closer to 100 watts. Yes! Exact same thing
Is there a benefit to using gel tips before dipping? Is the removal process the same as just dipping?
In my opinion the gel tips help keep my nails strong in between manicures! I use peel base so I can easily pop off my manis at about a week and the tips are still there and protect my natural nails until I do my next mani. if you don't use peel base, then its a little different. You can either file off the dip down to the gel tip or you can soak off, but the soaking will take a while.

Thank you! I do not use Builder Gel at the same time I'm using gel tips. I would use one or the other, just depends on the mood I am in :)

How different is the process if you’re not using the peel base?
I use gelly tips like this and no peel base; I don’t add gel base and gel top coat over the tips-after I’m done putting the tips on, I buff them to get them a little rough, then wipe with alcohol to remove dust, then go straight into dipping!

Any ideas for how this could be used without UV products? I’m allergic to gel (anything g that needs to be cured by a lamp. I can use dips and regular polished though. Thanks and love your products!
Sally Hansen’s has a line of polish called miracle gel, it’s regular polish that looks n dries like “gel” you can use the topcoat from that line to do chrome, it’s not gonna be as intense, there are tons of vids on YT. I used to use the matte topcoat all the time before I finally got a lamp n BG

Thank you! my nails were activated and filed and buffed, then I started the process with the gel top coat. You will want to skip the second activator step :)
