God’s perfect timing has led me here. Thank you for sharing. I love that throughout this whole chapter (and in basically every exchange with the religious elites) Jesus never answers their question directly, like we, as humans, would tend to logically react with. Instead, Jesus tackles the root issue behind these loaded questions by making the Pharisees, sadducees, scribes, etc. think about what they are asking, and when they do, it’s evident they are convicted against God, the Father. But even when Jesus answers his own question, he lets the weight of the scripture hold its own. If they believed that the Psalms were a part of the Holy scriptures, then “The LORD said to my lord” is evidence enough that the Father has a Son who was alive with Him in David’s age, and who was there, presently, with them in their own time (and is with us now and forever). Thank you for helping me digest all this; I’m doing my first Bible teaching on this chapter tomorrow, I need all the help I can get. God bless you, brother!

Pastor David Hinck was the only person in all my years of ministry that prayed for me when I visited HIM in the hospital. He always had a pastor's heart and was such a dear friend to me. I will never forget his kindess.

They need to move the microphones AWAY from the organ speakers. The singing is unintelligible due to this. The service sounds as if it would back in the 1920's on an old radio.
