That Leyland Leopard SCS335M at 3.41, who owns it? I used to drive that back in 1992 when Scarlet Band owned it from West Cornforth. Also used to drive SCS 333M thatvhad Air assist power steering. Be nice to see 335M again
A magnificent line-up of preserved and current buses. My brother worked for Optare in Leeds, and previously at Falkirk as a bus design engineer. In the early 1960’s I rode some of the Glasgow Corporation buses, and the trams as well. Sat in the cab of a tourist operation Routemaster in Edinburgh in 2010, a big thrill as I am a bus driver in New Zealand. My company operates a mixed fleet of secondhand MAN’s, and my regular bus is a twenty year old three-axle MAN with a Voith 3-stage automatic gear box, very smooth, and for its age a very easy bus to drive. Mostly used for cruise ship shuttles and some private hire jobs that we call “a Metro job”. It is ex-Auckland suburban fleet, so probably done at least half a million kilometres!
I worked at the Brigeton garage back in mid 70s doing bus c.o.fs loved it had a lot of fun with some mental choobs i worked alongside,,, great days indeed.
what a load of beautiful beautiful vehicles, thank you. you have a lot of trucks up in scotland how about you do them. i have subscribed. good good work. im from hull, it looks like some buses have the same livery as hull city council

@@onlyme8001 yes I was , tbf it’s a converted trolley bus to motor bus. The body is 1954 and the chassis and everything else is 1963. But it’s semi synchromesh gearbox and a mind of her own lol. We have a replacement gearbox in go in her , she’s been like it for a long time. How usually change down is from forth to third then into second gear after the revs get way down most of the time it works. Tbh she was performing really well so I thought I’d give her go and she bit me lol.

Hi i'm viatron from Sheffield, well I know many old vintage bus types what is on your video such as the A.E.C. Other types what also feature is the Leyland Titan PD2/12 from Ribble Motor Traction Co. The Brighton & Hove E.C.W. bodied Bristol KSW6G fitted with a Gardner 6LW 8.4 litre 6-cylinder diesel engine & a Bristol 4-speed constant mesh gearbox with a single dry plate friction clutch. They were also a Leyland Titan PD3A/1 from Blackpool Corporation fitted with a Leyland 0.600 9.8 litre 6-cylinder diesel engine via a Leyland 4-speed synchromesh gearbox & a single dry plate friction clutch & the classic bus of all time was the Leyland Atlantean PDR1/1 also from Lytham St. Annes Corporation via I've got the technical details of these vintage buses because I know them. Thank for your co-operation on this very special vintage bus types subject from David Viatron Esquire of crookes in Sheffield.
My wife and I are visiting York next month. Is there a 'day ticket' we can buy to give us unlimited bus travel for any particular day. Can we pay using contactless cards, or is a paper ticket better . thanks for any information provided.
During my lifetime there have been three new bus stations in Halifax, and the one before that (at Ward's End) wasn't that much earlier, either. The place seems to have an obsession with them, or they are bloody useless at designing and building bus stations. I give this one 25 years max.
Thanks 👍
Thanks 👍
what is this algoritm? why this guy stays on the road and videotape buses?

Someone seemed to struggle a bit with the PD'S gearbox.
