Anyone who thinks in the shadows, time, return of the vampire etc is only "ok" really doesn't know much about metal, I'm sorry. And yeah manowar rules. I still think king diamond puts on a better concert, but that really isn't the point. man i just saw destruction tonight they destroyed everything!!!!

King also has been recovering from surgery, back surgery i believe. but he's been working on a few dvd's to put out soon, 1 from king diamond and 1 from mercyful fate. i'm sure a new album is being written too.

lol you got to see him live and you got to listen to the album. i must admit in 1982 the first time i heard him i did not like him. the voice was to different, to high pitch but he grew on me. and now i still think he is amazing.

I think it's probaly 83!! There are similar clips on youtube from 'Dont break the oath' tour, i would say it's probaly 83, 84ish anyway!! I am 31 years of age and a recent convert to MF!! When i was growing up it was Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer etc that were my bands. I dont know how MF passed me by? They are truly fantastic!! I Downloaded 'Dont break the oath' off i-tunes recently, genius album!! As a result it has got me into classical music aswell!!
