I would say this would make for a good Christmas in July episode. But sadly, we are two days late. LOL In all seriousness, though, I thought Super Rescue was long, but man, this has it beat. This was a perfect end to this saga everyone else who contributed and helped. to make it possible did a great job!

A heartwarming conclusion to Bear and James' arc. I especially love the backstory of Bear and that scrapped engine. Oh and nice Gordon cameo.

I've really been enjoying this complete makeover of James and the Diesel Engines. This part is easily the best so far. The stakes feel so much more dire here, and I love how well fleshed out Bear feels. He's got his own flaws and it feels so natural how he clashes with James' ego. Again, I love how BoCo feels so important here, as well as Donald & Douglas. The condensed and more focused cast feels much more appropriate for this story. Oh yeah, and the subtle but witty humor is top notch.

Making 261 the Old Stuck Up feels quite natural. I also like how much more of a presence BoCo has. Lemmy's flavorful dialogue for everyone, especially Bear and 261, is delicious.

I think what I really like about this remake of Super Rescue, not just for how much different it feels, is how well it feels like if it came out of the Brenner era. The character actions, the sequence of events, and flowery dialogue. It's a bit difficult to make a Super Rescue adaptation stand out when it's one of the most adapted RWS stories in the fandom, but this one definitely does.

This is just what we all needed: a reworked story of Crossed Lines and thankfully instead of a random diesel that never spoke, we have someone that being Bear who needed all the potential and clash James to end his arc.

Once again, another fantastic part to this diesel engines saga. This definitely has to be the most heated I've ever seen James. Also, I find that steam engine at the end to be quite the interesting character already. Definitely excited to see how this all concludes next week.
