If you own shares of a privately held company, and the company is doing well, then you will do well. But if a publicly traded company does well, nothing requires that company’s stock to do well. That is why it is so important to look at how the stock performs over time. Not just over 5 or 10 years but over 20 or 30 years. If you only focus on the company’s balance sheet, and overlook the actual stock’s long term performance history, you will likely be disappointed by the results.

Intel’s stock stayed at around $30 for over 15 years after the tech bubble burst. And is still below where it was when the bubble burst in 2000. Cisco has not done much since then either. Even though both have good fundimentals and look good on paper. I avoid stocks have long periods of stagnation in their history even if they look good on paper.

If more CEO's were designers, the company would care more about it's users, instead of just financial gain. Some of their business practices are unethical and greedy, like planned obsolescence, to make you purchase the more expensive options.

Well I speck for all of us when I say, that we miss the Original Charm and Magic of Disney and what it represents because if Walt Disney was alive today, he would be furious and disappointed. The major issues is Disney *Believing* they ran out of ideas when as Walt said “As long as their Imagination in the World Disney will never be Completed”. Their problem is poor leadership with lack of creativity, forcing diversity into remake classics intend of making original movies, lack of magic of animation like 2D or inventing new animation and again lost of charm and magic, the kind that brings you joy, imagination and art. Even these remake classics, are a disaster because of the race swapping, dark themes and trying to use CGI to bring back the original charm makes the films look unnatural and too realistic or even making them too serious or unfriendly to children like in remake Mulan, Jungle Book, Lion King, Maleficent and even Alice in Wonderland. What Disney needs help, like being more inventive in animation (maybe do some 2D), explore the world of story for inspiration or even Disnifying other fairytales, create more diverse stories from other cultures, races, Neurodiversities, careers and backgrounds and finally stop comparing or selling the company to others because Disney is special for bringing light, magic and art to the world and most importantly listen to fans and their stories instead of Marketing

Disney has made some really bad choices with its franchises. Star Wars was managed so badly that even I, who was a diehard fan that began at premiere night in '77, ended up disliking all of it and don't want to spend a dime on anything they offer.

After what Disney has done to Star Wars if I was a Disney share holder, I'd be voting for Peltz on that issue alone.

Quality and dependability will determine the outcome. It takes a few years with a new product to see how well it's going to perform. So far I'm not impressed with the Fiat platform used for Jeep. Hopefully it will improve with electric vehicles. Time will tell.
