My issue with Mercedes Vito W639 113CDI hand brake or parking brake not holding. Replacing the shoe expanders to fix the problem. Done as D.I.Y I am not a mechanic. Parts came from Mercedes main dealer at around £80 for the, shoes, adjusters, expanders and spring kits.
